So here I am Roshni week later than promised but hey now that I am here that what counts right? 😳

I read the story from start as there had been a long gap so had to get the context and a solid start to 5b with all his hopes having left him,he accepts his defeat starring at nothingness in the vastness of the sky…

I like how you described Gulaal and Kesar's merge of mind when both of them stare at the night sky together in their voyage towards each other..beautifully put….Gulaal's monologue and Kesar's silent but expressive acceptance of her being right about his feelings, what can I say…sometime you feel very aggravated with her thinking and how she managed to hurt him every step of the way with it but the very next moment you can sympathise with her as she didn't want to spoilt his life by tagging along not being able to reciprocate his love and devotion towards her till she realized what she felt herself….

And to the concluding part….I was expecting Kesar to be overwhelmed after listening to what he always wanted to hear but in a way it was good that he moved out….cause she had still not understood him at this point, she was still waiting for him to accept her, forgive her but for him she was never in wrong even when she said all those things to him to make him go away from her, his love never diminished and after the night's confession that's what he expected from her, not to ask for his forgiveness or wait for him to accept her but just be his Gulaal this time forever….

It was a beautiful piece as always Roshni, sorry it took me so long to put my comments up, but I do not have a laptop anymore and this site somehow does not work well from my tablet so it's always a trouble getting here…but I am glad I finally did and managed to read your story…Hope you can bring us new one pretty soon…
