If you thought that was cheesy, you wouldnt be able to make it through 10 minutes of Dilip Kumar or Saigals Devdas ha ha 😆

Salman Khan playing an exaggerated version of himself does not qualify him for any awards when there are performances like SRKs in Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan in Guzaarish, and Ajay Devgn in Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai.

My rankings:

1) Chak De India - The best role of his career really
2) Kabhie Haa Kabhie Naa - His most underrated role. He is the most natural in this. THIS is the vintage SRK, I really would have wanted him to be.
3) Swades - Another superior performance, the movie was a bit slow, but SRK shows his mettle here
4) My Name Is Khan - He was authentic in his portrayal, it is actually not OTT as some people perceive it. This is genuinely how people with Asperger's behave. What ruined MNIK is the bad exaggerated storyline.
5) Baazigar - I think he was brilliant. One of the few actors who can bring vulnerability to negative roles. Darr was much better though.
6) Devdas - IMHO one of the best renditions of Devdas. I prefer SRK's version because I think he contrasts the rich opulence & arrogance against the helplessness & manic depression of this tragic hero. I think the previous Devdas renditions, downplayed some of his characteristics. Full kudos to SLB though for bringing the novel to life
7) Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge - This is the movie that made everyone fall in love with SRK. This is the original good-bad boy every girl dreamed of being swept away by. Had he not diluted his impact by playing stereotypically same characters over and over - more people would appreciate this.

I won't even dare rank the ones below. Utterly undeserving, rubbish awards. It is an embarrassment to cinema to award this sort of kitsch. It is like giving best actress to Kirsten Dunst for looking good in Bring it On.

Mohabbatein - When I was younger, I liked the movie. But over time, I've sickened of it. And it is such a bad remake of Dead Poets Society. I am a love lorn romantic, which is exactly why the idea of substituting juvenile romances in place of poetry just seems like a grotesque crime. If I may say so - a rape of cinema as well as love.
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai - This is like casting John Travolta in Heath Ledger's role in Ten Things I hate about you. John Travolta had his hey dey, he was the iconic, college boy/youth. But he got old and had to make room for younger stars. The movie was a miscast. Would have been better with authentic casting.
Dil To Pagal Hai - So bad! Speechless!

SRK was awesome in MNIK. Easily the best performance of 2010, with Ajay in OUATIM being 2nd.

Kinda tie between the two.
