ASHNI's GRAND GESTURES OF LOVE - PART E
Romance is in the air when Ashni are around. Their sheer presence exuded romance, every look exchanged, every word uttered, every little gesture seemed to underline the love they shared. As they grew as a couple one could feel the growth in their relationship by the way they cared for the other person even before themselves. So now lets look at some more gestures that defined ASHNI Romance with...SOME ICONIC DEEDS AND DIALOGS of Nidhi.
When Ashu returned her ear-rings Nidhi was impressed by his thoughtfulness and there was a subtle shift in their relationship. When she saw him hug Mallika, she instantly felt jealous and studiously tried to avoid Ashu, but fate had something else in store and their paths crossed many times. Finally it was Nidhi who first accepted her love and even pursued Ashu after that. Since that realization her love for Ashu was complete and selfless. Ironically it seems that Ashu did a lot of things after their wedding while Nidhi did some grand things in their courtship and pre-wedding days.
LIST OF ICONIC DEEDS AND DIALOGS ' NIDHI
Nidhi's Deeds:
1. Nidhi's first decisive moment was when she cancelled her Europe trip. She took a step forward towards Ashu when she took a step back from the ticket counter at the airport...
2. During Nidhi's days of self-denial Ashu met with an accident. Her restlessness and anxiousness to see him convinced Anji that this was love but she was in denial and unable to accept it...
3. When Mallika's antagonistic methods pushed Nidhi to a corner she issued her an open challenge stating that her 12 seconds would win over Mallika's 12 years and she would never leave Ashu. It was then clear to Mallika that Nidhi was in love with Ashu...
4. She was shocked, hurt and angry at Ashu when he dismissed her from KGH. A distraught Nidhi questioned his decision and almost blurted out her love for him in front of all. The pain in her eyes and voice convinced Armaan there was more to this story...
5. When they met at a restaurant, she stopped her father from accusing Ashu simply because she could not stand his insult and she did not want the two men in her life to fight over her...
6. When she realized that the house she received as a gift was the one Ashu craved for, she wondered at their fate and magnanimously decided to gift it to him on New Year's eve. She even started dreaming of a future there. Had it happened this would have been her grandest and most self-less gesture...
But thanks in part of Mansukhani and Mallika (and also indirectly Ashu himself) her dreams lay shattered by the wayside...
7. When Ashu surprises her with their first VDay and gives a gift, she gives him a return gift by asking him to put that chain around her neck, symbolically she was accepting Ashu...
8. Just seconds before CV announced her engagement in front of family and guests, she begged her father to stop the proceedings. She then accepted her love for Ashu in front of her family and waited for his return...
9. When all had given up hope of finding Ashu, she did not. Dressed in a blue saree she went to the extent of berating all who come for a condolence meet and declared that as long as she lived he was alive...
10. She felt so connected to Ashu and could hear his voice call out to her at night and again near the village where she eventually found him. Its was her magical touch and her voice that revived him and brought him back from the dead, her grandest gesture...
11. After their break-up, she rejected Rohan's proposal yet again, only this time Rohan was in love with her. She scolded him for being opportunistic and her family of being insensitive to her feelings, and decided to leave India for a while...
12. She defended Ashu in front of DB and stated that DB had no right to insult her husband...
13. Just to see him smile she agreed to search and bring back Mallika. Again for the same reason she even let Mallika stay at their house, against her better instincts...
14. She surprised Ashu with a birthday party to make his first birthday after their wedding his most memorable one...
15. When an injured Ashu needed help to operate on the CM everyone stepped back in fear but Nidhi stepped forward as she trusted and respected Ashu and because of a sense of duty. But as his wife she prayed and asked 'mannat' for Ashu's success...
16. When Khushi was taken Nidhi could not bear to see a heart-broken Ashu and managed to bring the girl back. Much later she confessed that she forgot her own sadness when he was sad...
17. Even if she was angry or hurt by Ashu, she still took care of his needs. When Mallika accused her of attempted murder and Ashu wanted her out, that night she still kept his water. When she was annoyed at Ashu and DD, she still made sure he had his tea after a tough surgery. These little gestures were always noticed by Ashu...
18. While attempting to save Ranga, Ashu and Daksh get injured. Nidhi is rattled at this sight. When Ashu tried to cheer her she told him that his pain reflected as tears from her eyes...
19. After she got shot, she still urged Ashu to go to the conference stating that she knew he would not let anything happen to her and she trusted him more than she trusted herself. Later she proved that when she implicitly trusted Ashu and stood by him when he was accused, even slapped Daksh...
20. She has stated a few times to Anji, Daksh and even Ashu that after she fell in love she did not want to do anything without him. She simply did not to enjoy it anymore...
So these were some of the most prominent acts from Nidhi. Other than this there are a few times when Nidhi has praised Ashu's skills, be it in surgery or elsewhere. And sometimes she has teasingly commented on his looks and nature. So lets proceed to that in the next one...
