Old Hindi Film Songs

Lately I've been listening to a lot of old songs that I grew up listening to...and I can't help but relate each and every one to the DK love story...I dunno why, but the words just remind me of these two and I find a DK situation to relate them too - and, for the past 2 days, I've been rewatching all the Kaju episodes and these two have been through a lot! But, one episode is sticking out in my head in particular...its acutally a very recent epi...when Dev is in his room thinking about Kaju - just before Dhruv goes in to tell him the name of the girl he loves (though he doesn't disclose the information...). Here, Dev is thinking about his Kaju as usual, and hating himself for being so mean to her, but here, I think Dev is secretly trying to convince himself that he doesn't have feelings for her...or can't have feelings for her...

The following song makes reminds me of Dev - as he was sitting in his room with the lights turned off, starring into nothingness, thinking about his Kaju, and trying to find a way to make the pain in his heart subside....

You know I agree with you quite a lot.Even i felt that when dev was being rude to kaajjal it was more like he was convincing himself that he doesnt love rather than try and convince her that. 😛

yes these old songs make the show very romantic its very uniquie 2 listen 2 them....

Payal..If I tell you now that Even I do the same thing every day & night..Will you beleive me ..??!! every song..every song that I listen to I picturise a situation for Dev & Kaju..And the partciular song what you have written is just mindblwoing for the present situation..I was thinking teh other day to put it in my update..I am soooo happy that you have said exactly what I feel..Its amazing how like minded & like hearted people think so much same..!!Superb post Payal..!!

Yes Hema ji, I DO beleive it - Infact, I expect that this is what you do! I do it a lot too actually! :) I think you've rubbed off on me quite a bit! :) And you're right, it is nice to have people that share your thoughts to discuss these things with - and you and I, from the 1st day I read one of your posts after a Kaju episode, I feel have had somewhat of a special bond - what with the similar relationship to Gannu Dada we both have! :)
