Sooraj Pancholi may have to undergo a narco test

Mumbai:

Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi's son and Jiya Khan's boyfriend, Sooraj Pancholi, who is in the jail in a charge of abetting the suicide of his girlfriend, may have to undergo a narco test.

According to the news report, Mumbai Police has sought permission from the court for the controversial test.

In the narco test, an accused is injected with 'truth serums' to bring the accused in a sleep like condition and compel him to talk about repressed thoughts and memories.

According to sources, the application for the test will be heard on July 1, which will clash his bail-hearing plea.

On the other side, the court has extended Sooraj Pancholi's judicial custody till July 11.

He was arrested on June 10, when Jiah's mother produced a letter allegedly written by the actor. Jiah Khan committed suicide on June 3.
