Thanks, I guess I need to do that, separate the flow of the narrative from the factual inconsistencies.

And this being a romance, may be see it more from that perspective and try to overlook the others.

As Vaishali said, even HDDCS had kc, and it didn't bother us there, so why here?

dunno ...HDDCS was a film all of 3 hours..you went in, the scene happened, next scene came in and the next and its over...

..the original novel was written over 15 years and in a 5 volume novel, maybe some inconsistenices will creep in...

... but doing it in a TV show like this after taking the reference of a novel is taking the audience for granted...

..If I have to look at logic inconsistencies I might as well watch other hindi tv shows...

.. also the romantic scenes without context just do not have the same impact for me...for e.g. in every TV show there is a kc scene...on a stand alone basis (without context) most of them express the same thing...some even better than SC (guessing here)

..I have also noticed that in the last week episodes...every line uttered by saras & kumud is full on heavy duty...wajood, atma ka milap ho, marte dum tak, symoblisms about seperation ...almost as if the writers are trying to stuff every minute with them expressing how deep is their love and shouting 'seperation'...

...and then to set the stage for this high funda love bytes & deep love gyan...throw in a kc event...which will also be the reference point ...both meet the last time, promises made in kc will be followed when seperate etc..

... why can't the above be done without the kc?... but no ...you need the kc to glam it up and be 'mainstream'...

..this is plain laziness...

..as I have mentioned this is the red line which has been crossed now...story ki vaat, context ki vaat...just make sure its 'mainstream'...

...going further the story itself may be jettisioned if it does not align to mainstream...

I am with you in this hgg. Precisely what's been bothering me. It's like story is being written to a formula, one festival, two romantic scenes, one emotional scene, just like any TV show!

But this show is supposed to be different, SLB was supposed to be different, the fact that an epic is being remade was supposed to be unique, yet the treatment is becoming more and more hackneyed.

Trying to keep the romance and Saras Kumud story at the centre, but these zabardasti ka tracks are bothersome and extremely so.
