Not sure about winning, but Hiten would have benefitted a lot from a good choreographer!
The 2C's did the trick for HuTi - their chemistry and their choreographers!
HV were very smart in concealing (especially) Tina's weakness, which is fast dancing (personally, I never appreciated Tina in the fast dances, such as the Romance round or the finale). Most of their songs were slow paced, thereby allowing the two love birds to entice one and all with their romance...but, I do believe that if not for HV, HuTi would not have so easily won the show - if not for the blindfolded and rope tactics, HuTI were no more special than the rest; these two performances made them the darling of the judges and masses.
Yes, HV played a HUGE part in HuTi's win and no one can deny that! As for working hard, please, everyone was equally diligent.
For e.g., I am sure Gauri-Yash worked hard on their Salsa, Tu Hu Tu and Aaja Gufaoon Me dances; Manav-Shweta worked hard on their classical dance, folk dance and comedy dance; Tahnaax Bakhtiar worked hard on their ballet, their Yaadein performance, and some of their fast dances; even Hiten and Gauri must have worked extremely hard to put their best foot forward; Shweta-Raja, especially Raja, worked diligently to master Saaki Saaki and Taal Se Taal etc...😕
No one can question the sincerity of any of the couples just to elevate your favorite! And, yes, if the other choreographers had equalled HV's creative genius, I am sure the jodis would have worked harder to not let them down
