Why so few Indian dance forms on JDJ?

While I do have the knowledge that Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa is an Indian adaptation of the format of the American Dancing With The Stars, it amazes me how Westernized it is in all its entirety. All we ever get to see are Tango, Salsa, Cha-Cha-Cha, Hip-Hop and Jazz. No Kathhak, Bharat Natyam, Manipuri, Kathakali, Mythlogy-themed dancing or Folk. Or even simple Bollywood, for that matter. Even if they pop up once or twice, its an exception rather than the rule. Why is this so?
Why so less "Indian"-ness in an INDIAN dance show ?

P.S. No idea about other dance shows since haven't watched them much.

Tese western forms are more easier to learn for a non dancer but the dance forms u are mentioning really take years of pracice to just get the basic knowledge. So how do v expect them to learn them ans perform in the span of 3 days.

@ Mahi78: I wouldn't agree there. Are Argentine Tango, Salsa, Aerial or Acrobatic dance forms like Paso Doble that easy to internalize within the same span of three days that you mentioned? Especially those perfectly-timed delicate lifts and somersaults and slides can't be more difficult than say, a Bharat Natyam. Correct?
