Taste of your love

Kumud dressed herself in the red sari Saras gave her before leaving to Dubai. She felt a bit uncomfortable while getting dressed like a newly wedded bride. She felt her stomach growl due to hunger, but she has to be strong and brave as she was fasting for her would-be-husband's well being and long life. Dugba, being her badima, escorted her to the other ladies waiting outside to do the puja before breaking their fasts. All the ladies gave their blessings to her including her parents as she stood before them. She excused herself as the women headed outside of the house to break their fasts knowing that her partner could not come to her for this ritual.

Kumud took the sieve with a trembling hand as soon as she got the picture of Saras ready with her left hand and looked at the moon through the transparent net. To her surprise before she could look at the picture on her left hand, she caught a very familiar hand on top the picture. She widened her eyes as she saw his face and put the sieve down to look at him straight. Ignoring the shock on her face he offered her the very first sip of water, but she refused to have the first morsel and hence insisted him to have it first.

'I'll have it when you call me by name' Saras reminded her of her promise of calling him by name when she sees him face-to-face.

'Ji...mein'...woh... mein...'' Kumud tried but failed, opened her mouth but like a fish out of water needing air to keep her alive.

'Saras' she whispered, keeping her voice low but he could hear her.

'Yes, Kumud!' his face was only a couple of inches away from hers as he murmured her name.

She opened her mouth to say 'S' but he took her mouth and the word with it eating it up as she told his name in his mouth making it reach deep inside him. He kissed her gently then and there, putting his arms around her and pulling her to him, enveloping her with his arms and almost lifting her off the ground. She responded to his kiss being unable to hold her. The kiss deepened as her hands reached through his hair and she moaned letting him know her pleasure. But he did not want to take this beyond the point of no return and hence he slowly pushed away and released her.

'Now have some food'I brought something for you' he reached his pocket and took a Cad-bury silk chocolate, removed one bar and held it to her lips. She initially hesitated but then parted her lips, wet them and took the silky creamy chocolate in her mouth. She closed her eyes to relish the sweetness and tilted her head to counter the taste, making a small trickle of the melted chocolate escaped from the corner of her lips.

Saras could not stop himself from flicking a finger at the corner of her mouth to take the escaped chocolate and licking his finger while holding her with his free hand. He gave a crooked smile as she opened her eyes, but took his finger into her mouth this time.

Transfixed, Kumud parted her mouth helping Saras to place his finger on her lips. She ran her tongue tentatively on it and then closed her lips to suck the soft pad of the finger into her mouth.He closed his eyes giving into the moment and saw as his eyes opened that she too was experiencing the same as he was; a moment of sheer wantonness.

Just then they heard a crashing sound right behind the wall they were facing. Kumud caught a glimpse of Kumari's dupatta there and they heard Danny saying 'I love you' to Kumari.

'K' Saras covered Kumud's mouth by his hand as she tried to call Kumari. He shook his head and asked her not disturb the newly found lovebirds in the village and pulled her into his arms.
