When she came out of the room that morning Arjun was having his coffee out in the terrace. She came there and he went inside. The hurt that she felt then was quickly gone seeing him bring her a cup of coffee. 'Good morning' he said. What was with him. Just yesterday he acted like she was not part of his family, now he is all calm like nothing happened. She was not yet ready to give her bright smile, which obviously he was missing, hence the attempt to make her talk 'Sorry yesterday I came very late, you were asleep by then' She walked to the railing keeping a safe distance from the edge. He followed her 'I have told the secretary of this building to send some people to fix this. They will increase the height and also allow you to have a view' 'it is not needed, I can take care of myself' she said grimly. Not the arohi he knows his attempt continued 'I know you can'. She was silent. She was done and was about to go in he took her mug. She refused 'I can take care of my things as well'. He stopped her holding by the elbow. 'ok. I am sorry that I was rude yesterday' 'just for yesterday?' 'Yes just for yesterday. But there are certain things I am not yet ready to explain to you. Until then..' 'Until then what, be like an outsider?' 'That is not what I meant' 'Then what should I think. From the day the wedding celebrations started, you are like a different person' her eyes filled up voice going low, face full of hurt. It would be a lie to say it did not affect him. She continued, 'first of all you were all grumpy during the wedding, and then you got more grumpy, then instead of being in Bombay you suddenly change plans, then you don't tell what is exactly on your mind, when I try to make breakfast you are all happy next moment you are mad that I spoke to your dadi, then you don't come home all day, what am I supposed to think?' , He could answer all her questions with one simple truth. Her face was so much full of hurt that he could not think of saying anything rude or harsh. 'Arohi, I can tell you, I do, but I cannot, I know what I am doing, I do know how you must feel, but I cannot help it, I wish I could' 'Is it because of Sanchit bhayya?' he was startled for a second if she knew something about it 'what about him?' 'is it because of what he did' 'what did he do' 'Why this sudden anger, you were so nice to my family, then you were all taunts, why, because sanchit bhayya did mistakes in handling the business' 'he did, didn't he' 'I know as a business partner it will affect you, but he will fix it' 'he will?' 'of course, or else why would you and him continue to be friends and wedding took place as planned' 'you are right, me and your brother are friends' his anger was slowly returning back to him. 'Arjun please forgive him' she said holding his arm. He looked at her hand and her face and removed it. 'Please don't tell me what to do or feel about sanchit. ok. I know what I want and what I should be doing.' 'Why should I not say anything' 'I don't have to explain. You might have the ahluwalia trait of pestering and interfering , but I don't.' he said rudely before going inside. She collapsed on the swing and covered her face, unable to stop her tears Not even a week is over and he was already telling her not to interfere in his matters, then what is she to him.

Once inside his room, he felt like breaking everything. Just the thought of sanchit boiled his blood. what was wrong with him. why his resolve to take revenge on his family through Arohi weakening by the day. Her tears were not such a happy sight to see, but the mention of sanchit just makes him forget. He is and will always be right. He is doing it right. Just let her brother see how unhappy his sister is and then he will get the satisfaction of seeing the hurt that he felt. No the hurt he is feeling, which is killing him. He called Jay. 'it is done' he said. Jay had been assigned the task of handing over evidence to IT. He looked at arohi who was still outside. He took his shower, did not wait to see what she was doing and left.

Arohi heard the door opening and being shut. Even though not a huge fight she felt miserable that Arjun said twice to stay out of his matters. She thought they were one. His thoughts and her thoughts were to be shared. Something went wrong ever since Sanchit's wrong doings in business came to light. Arjun must be thinking he got into wrong partnership. What can she do for what her brother did. Why was he rude to her. When will she feel like a real wife. Where is the bliss of marriage. She can wait for him to be loving towards her, but the sudden change of mood, the taunts at her family the rude ness in his voice, his attempt to keep her away from his daadi, this was getting unbearable to her. She looked at her still fresh mehendi, he did not even take a proper look at it.

After 3 hrs she composed herself decided to go out. She would go out explore the area, feel fresh, she did not want to feel sad. She dressed in a white and blue salwar donned a small red bindi on her face, dabbing a smile she went out, to feel the fresh air, to lift her spirits.

Even after keeping himself completely busy within the office, surprising everyone with his longer than usual stay at this branch, he could not stop thinking of her. One part of his mind wanted to go back and console her. After much battle with himself he called her afraid she may not answer. She took the call. He could hear lot of noise in the background. 'hey' he said 'hello'. 'I wanted to say that...' he struggled for the right words 'Siddharth!!!' he heard her excited voice 'who?' 'Siddharth... here ... siddharth... godd he cannot even hear... CHIKU' she shouted loudly. Arjun gripped the phone tighter 'Arjun I will talk after coming home' she said 'coming home, where are you now, why did you yell chiku' 'I came out shopping, to he bazaar. I saw chiku, ok he is coming now, I will talk to you later' beeep. He held the phone like that for a while. She did not say where she was. Where ever it is there is that stupid chiku, why did he even come here. was he following them? Arohi's voice was so low when she answered the phone and then suddenly she is all excited and talkative. 'Ajay' he called his PA. 'Yes sir' 'Is there a bazaar in Delhi' 'There are a lot of them sir, which one are you asking about' 'one that is very noisy and which a shopping place' 'all of them are' 'ok, thank you'. He called her again 'haan Arjun' 'which bazaar are you at' 'Chandni chowk' 'why did you go so far? what was it that you could not find near by? how did you reach there? what if something happened to you?' 'Ok. I wanted to go out somewhere anywhere away from the house. I asked a neighbor downstairs, she said many names, I remember my friends talking about chandni chowk so I came here. I came by taxi. I am right now having lot of fun. nothing has happened to me. don't worry chiku is here he will drop me home' 'yeah right!. I will come there and pick you up. wait for my call' 'I am not done shopping at' 'fine I will join you'. Just one line I will come to pick you up and Arohi forgot all the things he said in the morning. She smiled. Chiku who had gone to get cool drink for them was back. 'here, what a surprise Arohi really' they began to talk about an hour later her phone rang again, 'I am parked outside Vasant Vihar, it is near ...' 'I know where it is, I saw while coming here' 'okay then come and meet me, we can go home' 'But I did not buy all that I wanted' he sighed 'all right. where are you'. she told him. Chiku listened to their convo. Great that freak Arjun will be here now. 'okay then here is my office no. call me whenever you want' 'Sure, you call me too, it is good to have a friend in an unknown city' Chiku felt happy hearing that 'of course, anytime, bye' he said leaving. Arjun approached her just then, seeing chiku's retreating back good riddance, he thought. Chiku turned to look at them, immediately Arjun's hand landed on her waist pulling her closer. He made her walk along with him when she yelled 'my stuff' lying next to where she was sitting were 5-6 bags 'and you are not yet done shopping' he raised an eyebrow she smiled sheepishly and nodded a no. He took the bags while she went on a second round shopping spree. All he did was paying the bills. Her energy seemed to increase with every new purchase. When it started to turn dark he pulled her by the arm 'enough now, let us go home, spare some for others too' 'are you saying I am shopping too much?' looking at the umpteen bags he said 'of course not' 'fine let us go, but I am coming back here again'. They had dinner and headed back home. She was in very good mood. 'What was that kabootar doing here' 'huh' 'chiku' 'oh him, he works here remember he told us the other day. It was so nice to see him' 'Is he married now' 'what?' she laughed, 'no. he would have told me first if he did. Why do you ask' 'I think you know. He spoke rubbish about you, and I had I don't like him talking to you' 'It is ok, he is not going to say all that again. Plus I need someone whom I know in this unknown city' 'you have me' ' I meant a friend' she said without backing down. She could sense the tension, man he is seriously affected by chiku, for no reason. 'forget him no' 'I hate it when I see him with you. that's it' he looked at her, she just smiled and pouted. Her cute look worked like magic on him, taking away all the bitterness due to chiku.

They had reached home. She helped him carry some bags inside. He followed inside her room, She took her chunni off swung it on the chair next to her bed, removed her jingling bangles and large earrings and turned around surprised to see him still standing there. Next moment she was in his arms his lips on hers 'Don't take off your jewelry in front of me' he said in a husky voice 'why' she was eager to hear what he would say next. 'because then I will feel like doing this' He hugged her tight, chest to chest, hip to hip. This sudden show of affection reeled her mind. Her hands went around his neck 'I don't mind' she said giving him a shy smile. His eyes instantly filled with desire. He kissed her tilting her face with one hand. His other hand moved under her kurta and caressed her bare waist, then gripped and squeezed, making her quiver. He pulled her lower lip with his teeth, his hand left her face traveled to he back, down her back to her hip and pulled her closer. The intimate touch made her pull his hair making him suck on both her lips harder. The tension brewing inside him ever since the kiss on the first night bed had begun to unravel. He trailed kisses on her cheeks to neck to her cleavage. He opened the tiny buttons that held the kurta in the front widening the gap. Feeling shy she moved closer to him to cover herself he moved her to an arm length's distance. In one go her kurta was flung to the floor, in just a slip and her salwar with her exposed neck line and shoulders with hair left loose toes curled, lashes heavily bent she looked breathtaking. His shirt joined her kurta and he moved closer to her. Placing her hands on his shoulders he kissed her again. Moving her straps aside he placed gentle kisses on her neck and shoulders. Her hands moved down to his abs to his back then to his neck. She ran her fingers though his hair then she felt his tongue probing her lips open and finding its way in. Heat pooled all through her body, she knew it was the same case with him, since his body was not hiding any of the excitement. His lips were on hers again and his hand moved on her waist under her slip moving up and cupped her chest sending a rapid pulse through out. He was mesmerized by the feeling it was unexplainable. He moved his hand across her chest squeezed her, felt the shiver that passed through her, his hand on her hip flushed her into him. She gasped once again at the contact and the sweet torture he was giving her. He wanted to feel all of her, biting her earlobe with his teeth he moved his fingers to the clasp on her back but froze when she whispered 'I love you Arjun'. He hugged her tight. Taking his hands from under her slip he caressed her arm. Arohi then sensed his grip loosen. He placed his forehead on hers 'Sorry, I am so sorry, I don't' She tried hard not to look disappointed. Controlling her feelings and acting like all is well had become her second nature. But the question in her eyes was piercing him. She picked up her kurta and went inside the bath. She heard the door close. What did he mean by I don't, was it in reply to her 'I love you', because until then he was smothering her or did that mean 'I don't want to continue'. What did he mean. how long does she have to stay away from him. 'What does he want to tell me but is not able to. Oh god I will go mad'. She let the shower hit her and wash away the tears.

Feeling low and disgusted at himself for leaving her abruptly he slammed his fist on the table. He wanted to hurt her yet he could not see her hurt. He was damn attracted to her but he cannot have her. What an awkward situation he created for her. He never meant to hurt her this way, displaying passion and then halting. He cannot love her either. That would be like betraying his mission. He was unable to stay away from her. oh god I will go mad. he said out aloud. She must be thinking he was not man enough to finish what he started. This thought frustrated him even more. Big mistake big big mistake. He should have beaten sanchit black and blue and put him in coma for rest of his life. This eye for an eye, emotion for emotion is going kill him and her as well. How will he even face her. If only, if only she was not Sanchit's sister...

An awkward week followed. Arohi tried her best not to let him know how hurt and disappointed she was. She wanted to ask him how long she was supposed to stay in a separate room like a stranger. Arjun hardly spoke to her. He was feeling guilty seeing her sad eyes but smiling face. One afternoon Amrit called Arohi. She cried, freaking Arohi out. After much questioning she was told Sanchit was arrested. Amrit said all their friends were giving vague assurances and that Sudhir was trying all means and methods to get him out. She asked if Arjun can help him out. Arohi said he definitely will, she will talk to him and that they both will come ASAP. It did not hit until an hour later what the situation might be back at home. Sanchit was a person who cannot be confined, she could imagine how he must be feeling being in prison. and simi, daddu, oh god please make it alright.

She practically jumped up from the sofa when he saw him come in. Seeing her anxious face he realized she knows the news, he got it from Jay already. It had not quenched even one bit of his anger. He knew very well by hook or crook he will try to come out. She hugged him. 'Arjun, mom called today, Sanchit bhayya is ..' 'I know .. I got a call too' 'we should go there ASAP' 'why'. She wiped her eyes 'because they need our support' 'there is no need' 'I told mom we will come' 'But I cannot Arohi I am busy, I don't have time to go visit your folks' hurt and humiliated she still continued 'I also said you would help him' 'why would I do that' 'he is my brother' 'he is also a cheater' 'help him arjun' . He began to walk away from there without answering. 'help him' she said holding his arm 'I don't help cheaters and criminals' 'My brother is not a criminal' she said in a defensive voice. 'Whom do you trust your husband or your brother?. When I say something I have a reason. He IS a criminal' 'no he isn't' 'you think cheating thousands of people does not make him a criminal? Either you are too naive or blinded by your love for your brother or just ignorant'. With tears stinging her eyes she asked again 'help him' 'I WILL NOT. Do whatever you want to'. He stormed out of the flat. Yes I am naive, blinded in love and may be ignorant too, but I am not ashamed, because I am in love with You, knowing that I am all this hurts.

He came home very late. He had a dream, the same one he had a while ago, his mother a fairy took Arohi away protectively. She glanced back at Arjun, he felt she said is this what I taught you?. A disturbing night, disturbed sleep. Her swollen red eyes in the morning made his heart jump. He asked her to eat something. When she refused, he got mad and told her she cannot blackmail him emotionally, he is not that weak. 'I am' she said 'try and see, I fall for any affectionate or emotional command'. He ignored the pain in her voice. 'I am going out on business, may or may not come back tonight'. When she stayed there staring at the way he went, he came back wiped her tears 'please accept it. I cannot help your brother' . he bent down kissed her cheeks 'Call me if there is any emergency. Don't venture out to unknown places. I will try to be back by night'. There was no change in her expression. The promise she made to her mother that he will help, did not mean anything to him, he did not care if she looses face in front of her family. Despite knowing she was upset, he just left. Strangely not a single tear came out now.

Several hours later, Sanchit had a visitor in jail. 'Hello brother in law' Arjun greeted him with a big smile.

Di..u need to update next chapter asap...i really can't wait..i felt my tears imagine arohi's situation..she is damn hurt. I can't help but feeling angry with arjun..just because he wanted revenge on sanchit..he is using arohi. But I love when he fight with his heart..n I can't wait to read about his condition when he will know the truth.
