Why do you keep ignoring my calls?
You go to work to work not to call me every 5 minutes.
Shut up!
I'm calling you right now. Baby please pick up.
Why the hell didn't you pick up?!
Woman I swear to god if you don't pick up this time I'm going to make you pay!
Don't bother calling. I'm busy.
Khushi just tell me what's wrong. I'll fix it.
Why would anything be wrong? I'm just busy looking up burger recipes. Sheetalji told me how much you loved taking her to Mr. Bartleys. After that I'm going find tickets to a KISS concert. Sheetalji told me how much you used to love them. I also have to dye my hair red and practice speaking in a fake American accent. You see I'm very busy so stop calling me!
I'll explain everything when I'm home. I love you okay?
You love me?
Baby?
A very flustered Arnav Singh Raizada put his cellphone on his desk after sending a very "jora ka ghulam type" text to his wife. After waiting ten minutes for a reply that never came, he chucked his phone as far as could, oblivious to the "Ow' that came from the first floor.

When Sanjay Khan first received his employment letter from AR Group of Industries, he had fainted. Two hours later when he realized that he was going to be working in the same building as Arnav Singh Raizada, he had thrown up.
On the morning of his first day, he had changed his shirt six times, changed his hairstyle three times, and brushed his teeth four times. He had forced himself to stay composed and not fan girl when he had seen Arnav Singh Raizada walk out of the conference room. The realization that he was breathing the same air as the man he idolized was strong enough to bring on a wave of nausea that he suppressed with great difficultly.
Sanjay had stood in the middle of the AR foyer watching his boss walk into his office and continued to do so after he had lost sight of him. The other employees gave him looks and some even prayed that he would come out of his daze before ASR gave him hell for not working.
He was eventually brought out of his daze but not by one of the seasoned employees. He was made conscious of his surrounding by Steve Jobs vision and Arnav Singh Raizada's throwing ability.
The IPhone lying near his feet had been his saving grace.

"Oh he didn't tell you that either? But I'm sure he must have told you about the road trip we took to watch Led Zeppelin perform! It was crazy you know, the hotel where we were supposed to stay was double booked so ended up sharing a room. That reminds me Arnav almost..."
Sheetal leaned against the kitchen counter and continued her story, completely unaware of Khushi's tightening grip on the handle of the knife she was using to chop tomatoes.
"Jiji you need to get her out of here! I swear to god if I have to listen to her voice any longer I will make sure she never talks again!" Khushi whispered to Payal all the while making sure the fake smile on her face never faltered.
If someone asked Payal to rate on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the highest, how sympathetic she felt towards Khushi she would have definitely picked 10. If she was asked to rate on the same scale how frightened she was of her sister, she would have picked 86.3.
"Mom can you help me with this math problem?"
Payal let out a sigh of relief and thanked her stars for sending Aaraav at the right moment.
"I guess so. Khushi I'll finish telling you stories later," Sheetal smiled at Khushi and as she turned to leave something hit the back of her head.
Sheetal reached to grab the gooey thing that had landed on her hair and cringed when she saw the crushed tomato in her hand.
Did Khushi actually just throw a tomato at me?
"Sorry Sheetalji I tripped and I have no idea how that hit you," quipped in Payal before Sheetal even had the chance to speak. Payal weakly smiled at Sheetal and prayed that the red haired freak would just drop it and leave.
And luckily Sheetal did exactly that.
"You and Arnavji need to talk. I'm not going to bail you out next time for throwing tomatoes."
"Sorry Jiji."
"And pick up the damn phone and talk to your husband. The constant ringing is giving me a headache!"

Anjali and Mamiji sat in the living room watching one of their melodramatic shows. Both had their eyes glued to the scene unfolding in front of their eyes. A harsh wind blew open the front doors and in walked the hero with a stern look on his face.
That is exactly what they would have seen if they were actually watching the soap opera instead of watching their beloved brother and nephew storm into the house.
Immediately both turned to look at the poor woman making burgers completely clueless of her surroundings.
"Anjali go warn her! I can smell the smoke coming out of his ears!"
"Mamiji there isn't enough time!" Anjali promised to hold a pooja if all hell didn't break loose.
"Distract him then!" urged Mamiji as she pushed her niece towards the danger.
"Chote! Good thing you're home! Mehta Uncle called before'"
"Not now Di," said Arnav as he walked past her.
"Arnav! Let me show you the new necklaces I want!" yelled Mami running up to Arnav.
"Buy anything you want Mami," Arnav stepped out of Mami's path and continued walking towards the kitchen.
Women
"Oh Arnav! I was just telling Khushi'"
"Yeah I heard Sheetal," replied Arnav cutting Sheetal off.
"ASR can you teach me how to dunk?"
"Later buddy," Arnav didn't bother looking at the kid and kept walking.
Can't these people just leave me alone!
I should talk to Khushi about living alone
Yeah like she'll agree
"Khushi come upstairs I need to talk to you," instructed Arnav as he loosened his tie.
Khushi was surprised to say the least. The fact that her workaholic husband was standing in front of her at 3pm was a complete shock.
"I can't. I have to help Jiji make dinner," replied Khushi trying to mask her surprise.
"Screw that. We'll just order out today."
"Khushi just go it must be something important," urged Payal.
"No Jiji just because he has no work to do doesn't mean that I don't either."
"You do realize that I'm still standing here right?" asked an annoyed Arnav.
"Why don't you go hang out with Sheetal or better yet go help Aaraav with his homework?"
Payal watched her brother in law lean towards her sister and contemplated running out of the kitchen but her curiosity had glued her feet to the floor.
"If you don't come willingly I know other ways to take you," Arnav whispered and smiled knowing the affect his voice had on his wife.
"NO!"
Khushi felt five pairs of eyes on her and inwardly groaned. Arnav being the intelligent man he was, took advantage of the situation and walked up to his embarrassed wife, He grabbed her hand and started pulling her towards their bedroom.
"What are you doing?! Everyone is watching us!"
A very frustrated Arnav turned around, threw his wife over his shoulder and once again began walking up the stairs.
"Damn it woman! Stop kicking! Do you want to have kids one day or not?!"

"Payalji! Do we have any ear plugs somewhere?"
"No Di we used it all last time! I'll go ask HP to quickly go buy some!"
"Why do you need ear plugs?" asked a very confused Sheetal.
"You'll understand soon," replied Anjali who was on the verge of hyperventilating.
A distraught Payal ran into the living room yelling, "Di HP fainted when he realized why I wanted ear plugs," before she collapsed on the couch.

Arnav dumped his wife on their king size bed and quickly went to lock the bedroom door. He turned around to see his fuming wife getting off their bed. He quickly stalked back to their bed and caged her in using his body.
Arnav Singh Raizada had had enough.
"Who do you think you are?!!"
"Arnav Singh Raizada."
"Wipe that smirk off your face Mr. Raizada! What do you think? You can come home with your raging hormones and I'll just give in?"
"What the! Just shut up Khushi I came home to talk you since you wouldn't take my calls."
"Well I still don't want to talk!"
"Can you just stop it?"
"Can you stop being so buddy buddy with that witch then?"
"So you're jealous?" As much as Arnav wanted to have a serious conversation he couldn't help but be slightly amused at the pout forming on his wife's face.
"Do you need it in writing? As much as I want to be liberal about your past relationships it still bugs me to acknowledge that there were other women in your life."
"Listen I admit that there have been women in the past but I have never needed anyone more than I need you. I don't know if there is a god but sometimes I catch myself looking up at the sky and saying thank you for sending you in my life..."
"Arnav..."
"No let me finish. I know I put you through hell sometimes and I can't even begin to tell you how sorry I am for that. I don't know how to share my feelings or describe in words how much I love you. I don't know how to say romantic dialogues like the heroes in the films you watch but I promise I'll try. All I know is that I need you. I needed you before. I need you now and I know I'll need you more than anything for the rest of my life. I just hope you need me too."
Arnav felt his wife wrap her arms around him and knew in that moment that she needed him too.
"And Aman's looking for an apartment for Sheetal. Also for the record I never made jalebis with her."
He felt his wife's grip tighten.
"Should we go downstairs?" Arnav asked after a few minutes only to be silenced with a kiss.
"I thought you were going to show me how much you loved me?"

Sanjay Khan was beyond elated when he was asked to retrieve a file from his boss's house. He made sure to check his appearance and practice his greeting in the men's washroom before he left for RM.
He even checked his appearance in the security guard's sunglasses possibly giving the man the wrong impression.
Sanjay nervously made his way to the front doors and was a bit surprised to see the doors wide open. He was even more surprised to see a middle aged man lying unconscious in the entry.
"Oh God! ARNAAV!"
Even before Sanjay had the chance to turn his head towards the direction the sounds were coming from, a piercing scream ripped through the house.
Sanjay was an intelligent man and as soon as his mind processed what was happening he blacked out.

The Raizada family minus three members along with Sheetal and Aaraav sat in an awkward silence at the dining table. A tray of burgers lay untouched.
Two unconscious men lay on two different couches.
This was the scene Akash Singh Raizada came home to.
Please let me know what you think! :)
