Both Rashid and Asad have fallen in the trap of very cruel women in their lives...be it Razia then, or Tanveer now...
While one has lived the life decided by Razia for over 20 years, I can only HOPE that Asad changes that...
Something like this was coming, I had guessed...but today I felt it was a lot to take in...considering, the irony of how history has played in comparing Asad to Rashid (be it via the colour of the blood or having the "bewafai gene" in them as Dilshad said), which we all know is not true at all because as a son, as a brother, and as a lover he has lived by everyone's expectations...but in not being able to truly recognize the one "childhood" friend (This frustrates me endlessly, Asad's blind trust in Tanveer is so irk-worthy, but even can one hope that he will finally look at all her facade and get rid of her?!)...today, he was not able to look into anyone's eyes ...
saddening and torturous!
While I watch the show on and off...but today I felt the need to jot this down...
I know the writers are taking this far, very far...but I really do not want History to repeat itself...Neither Zoya, Asad, or Dilshaad deserve this...and the coming days will show this...
I still have questions though, of why Zoya is not seeing how Tanveer has played this...or why Dilshaad is not able to look at Asad and believe in her upbringing...but but but...the circumstances and how they situation has played out will take a while for them to think rationally and logically...
Anyone else also notice the look Rashid gave to Asad when Dilshaad mentions how Bewafai has come in Asad's virasat? Its as if he knows that his son is being played and trapped like he was many years ago...
I would really like Rashid to actively fix this mess! For once, he needs to step out and be there for Asad and bring him truth!
Heres hoping for a better week ahead...Im sure amidst the tears, and songs...we will see one of the best performances by the actors...and I will hope the writers really play this out well after tangling it soo much...a woman like Tanveer does not deserve an ounce of happiness or triumph at trampling with two lovers...why must Zoya and Asad suffer at the hands of Tanveer...and does she really think that Asad will now marry her and take care of her child?
We know very well that...For Asad, it will be Zoya or no one...
