Prologue

Her profound gaze pierced his soul threatening to tatter him into pieces. He

stared back into her eyes and was left staggered for a moment.

She trusted him.

His heart beats rose placidly as he realized this.

His insides clenched with a fear he had never known existed within him.

Looking straight in her eyes, crushing his rising conscience, he masked his

face and the cold smirk was back and so was the devil.

"Goodbye Princess!" he said emotionlessly and winked as he pulled off the

trigger.

She cried out as the bullet pierced her abdomen and toppled over her

knees and rolled on to the ground.

She stared at him as if searching for something but all she saw was the

smirk plastered on his face.

Why ? Why had he broken her trust, the faith she had in him ?

Her eyes started turning heavy as she let herself embrace the darkness.

How was it ? Good or bad ?
