Arjun mocked himself and said pagal hogayi hai voh aur abh tu bhi' Chutki toh baachi hai abhi bhi' he finished the sentence with a smirk.
The last sentence Arjun mumbled was heard by Rathore who had his eyes well up in sadness.
Now the clock ticked 3:00 pm at ETF's wall clock...and Rathore was too busy convincing Reema about ETF's working environment and how he was concerned for her.
Arjun walked out to the underground ETF parking lot. But he failed to gain attention as to where his foot was leading him. He walked with his thoughts juggling in his mind.
He walked couple of miles yet his senses weren't alerted until a car beeped at him for blocking the road. Arjun was out of his trance and he looked around and found himself near a school. He looked at the kids a small smile crept up his lips.
'Sab bacche ek jaise hi dikhte hai uniform mai, I wonder ye parents ko kaise pata chalta hai unka bacha konsa hai' mumbled Arjun with a smirk.
Soon he spotted Nikki with another little boy (Nachiket Rathore's son). But before he could get to Nikki and Nachiket they were accompanied by Ankur. Who happen to pick them up from school, but suddenly Arjun's footsteps stopped as he saw a car pull up just in front of Ankur's bike.
Nikki looked at the car and getting off the bike she ran and the person from the car picked her up in mid-air. Twirling the little one around, while Ankur let out a smile, Nachiket yelled 'Mujhe bhi' throwing his hands up in air to be picked up.
'Bhaiyaaa'' called out Nikki with a jealousy in her voice. The man was someone he knew; it was Aman Riya's Doctor. He kissed Nikki on her cheek while she and Nachiket kissed him on his cheeks simultaneously.
Ankur and Aman had a little talk, but before Arjun could cross the road, Aman left in his car with both the kids and Ankur went the opposite way.
Arjun felt helpless as he couldn't follow either of them because he was on foot and they were behind wheels.
'There's something fishy' Arjun muttered and he walked home with a self relief that Riya was out of danger, him and Rathore had almost patched up.
His relations with his sister had kicked started on a good note. 'Ab mujhe aur kya chahiye life se' thought Arjun as he settled down in his house.

Riya was home by next morning but she wasn't back at her place; it was her brother's place, as she was too weak to live alone and also to takecare of her little angel. About whom Arjun wasn't aware.
Ankur often visited her, while she was on bed rest for few more days. Reema's mother took very good care of Riya while Arjun kept visiting Riya at odd hours without her knowing.
He would come around either when Riya's asleep in morning or late night when heavy doses of medicines had knocked her unconscious.
At the same time, everyone in the house would be rushing around to get ready, the kids (Nikki & Nachiket) would have left for school. So, Arjun would misses to notice the two little kids because of his odd hour visits.
** Few days later
It was a Sunday morning, one eventful week of Arjun and Riya's life had been completed.
As usual Arjun came to visit Riya at early hours of Sunday, though he was unaware that Riya hadn't taken her strongest pill last night as she felt much better than day one.
Reema opened the door and said, 'Good Morning Dada, Riya abhi so rahi hai'
Arjun smiled at her 'Chutki mujhe pata hai' he side hugged her as he replied.
Reema yawningly said 'Mai Chai banati hu aap mil ke aaeye' Arjun nodded and walked towards Riya's room.
Arjun opened her door, while Reema's mother walked straight to him and questioned Arjun 'Tum aise ajeeb time pe kyu milne ate ho? Us bechari ko toh pata bhi nahi hota hai ki tum milne ate ho'
A smile crept Arjun's lips, which was his Kakki's answer and she left from there.
While he had a flashback few days before when Riya was getting discharged.
Nurse 'Ye discharge papers pe sign kar do' Arjun nodded but soon he was in a dilemma.
The paper had few final concent OPTIONS ' 1. Husband, 2. Family, 3.Relative!!
Nurse 'Are you done sir' questioned another nurse Arjun quickly ran inside to Sameer Rathore Riya's brother 'What should I do Sam?' Arjun politely questioned.
Sam had a look at it and rolled his eyes and signed on the papers, as he let out silent sighs.
That led Sam to go and drop the papers, Arjun tidyed the room before leaving. There was an awkward silence between the two (Arjun & Riya).
Shortly, a curious Riya unbearably broke the awkward silence 'So' kyat ha paper pe jo tum itne puzzled the? That was the first line she spoke to Arjun since the karvachauth incident.
'Ohh nothing discharge papers, I wasn't sure konsa option tick karu Family ya Relative?' said Arjun
But soon he laughed and said 'I should have ticked Relative, technically we are Relatives right. He laughed hard once again; but Riya's eyes were moist by his words.
She faintly smiled at him with her moist eyes thinking Arjun won't notice it, however; her body language, her eyes, the moist everything was well noticed by Arjun.
Arjun's trance was soon interrupted by himself as he hit on the corner of the bed. He limped as he lifted the little stool placing it next to Riya's bed and sat on it.
His smile widened each time he looked at her sleeping so peacefully.
He slowly moved the few strands of her hair that were on her face, that Riya trying to move it off in her sleep.
A smile slowly, yet peacefully widened across her face. But suddenly her eyes opened widely, and her body jerked as she spung up.
'Hey its me, calm down' Arjun told Riya as shetook deep breaths.
'Tum' Tum yaha kya kar rahe ho' she questioned him instantly.
'Btw, stop acting like a jerk please, tumhe pata hai na mujhe aisa bilkul pasand nahi' Riya questioned.
'Aarey take a breath madam' 'Woh mai tumhe dekhne'' he stopped but soon Riya completed 'Aise choro ke tarah dekhne aye ho mujhe? Then she paused and continued 'Itne din nahi aye the na toh abhi kyu achanak?' Zinda hu ya mar gayi hu dekhna tha kya?
Arjun shushed her by placing his finger on her lips 'Ohh God, kitna sawaal, btw madam mai tumhe roz dekhne aya karta hu'
Riya shrugged his finger off 'Huh Liar' but inside her heart smiled while her mind said 'Janti hu'
Reema walked into the room 'Tum uth gayi? Ruko mai aap dono ka chai yahi lati hu'
Reema was back in no time with two cups filled with tea. 'Ab kaisi hai tabiyat tumhari'
'Pehle se behtar hai bhabhi' Riya replied as she picked up her cup.
But before she could take a sip, her cell rang.
Arjun passed her the phone the caller ID was blocked Arjun thought zarur us Doc ka hoga.
Riya looked at the id and said please excuse me she got up and walked towards the balcony 'What??? Kya?? Wait I'm coming. You're a gem!' saying so Riya rushed out.
'Arjun, mujhe jana hai bahot important kaam hai, I'll see you later'
'Aarey you're not well, you can't' Arjun refused.
Riya changed her clothes in the washroom, while she replied 'Aarey don't worry I'm completely fine baba'
In the next two minutes Riya walked out of the room and through the front door quickly.
