So, I was watching this old interview of Preity's today and it was a little sad to see how she used to be and how she's become lately. I remember I used to be a huge fan of hers because she seemed so honest, straightforward and clean.

She ended the interview by saying "Those guests are nice that don't stay too long" to describe her sentiment of not wanting to stay in Bollywood forever. A little ironic and sad to see how the pressures of Bollywood got to her and changed the dreams and plans she had when she gave this interview.

She sounds so spunky and sweet here. I never knew she's been through so much as a child. I miss this Preity.

Wow, what an ironic ending. As you said, it's sad how she said she'd quit showbiz once she had kids..and as of now, her career is practically over and apart from her addiction to botox/her face looking obnoxiously horrendous, I don't know what to make out of her life outside of films.

Preity's personality made her stand out during her time..she seemed real, genuine, and easy to relate to. She had such a cute face..with the most adorable smile..I will never, ever understand why she ruined it. It would be easier for me to see her with no films yet the same personality she had before she turned the way she did..however, it's just simply sad to think what went wrong.

I also think Preity never utilized her potential to the fullest..she faded away too soon...just an overall weird downfall.

Yeah, the bit where she talked about drug addictions and understanding the minds of addicts was pretty interesting. Especially considering the strong rumors about her coke addictions later on. It seems like she became everything she said she never wanted to be in this interview.

I know..it's kind of heartbreaking,.especially because she seemed like a level headed and sensible person.

in the second video, she seems psychotic to me more than anything. 😕 Not to mention, wth happened to her dimple? - I guess the surgeries + botox ruined everything.

I still see that spunk in her. I feel like she's always been someone who has been mentally strong and has never needed to show anyone that. Even after her breakup with the Wadia guy, she came out so strong. She's come a long way and somewhere, Bollywood might have sucked up parts of her that were genuine.

But still, she should continue to do what she loves whether it's cricket, business, movies, whatever. As long as she's satisfied with the way her life is shaping up, who's to say she's wrong in living life how she wants to?

I don't think anyone is saying she's wrong in living the life she is currently. I think most of us her just surprised and saddened to see how a woman who had so much going for herself..just succumbed to bollywood's pressure and kind of ruined her acting career. I personally think if she didn't ruin her face, she could probably still act at least? because I was watching some of the promos to that Ishq in Paris film of hers..and couldn't help and notice how horrible her acting was..she couldn't even smile properly, let alone act. Why would anyone want to waste their money seeing her like this?

Also, I keep hearing her talk about how she left bollywood midway to go buy an IPL team..and how she was the top actress at that point..I think that's false. Her career was tanking with some of her ridiculous movie choices in 2007 (Jhoom Barabar Jhoom)..and I believe after that she just left to buy a cricket team. And she started ruining her face at the time of Salaam Namaste..and I'm not sure why. Not to mention, I find her a bit insecure in many of her interviews nowadays..which wasn't the case before.
