"Actually I'm quite a law abiding citizen but my closest brush with the law came when someone filed a case against me because I refused to act in their play. That person used his contacts to trouble me but thankfully I know a few people so it was alright. Anyway he had no case at all because if I refuse to work there's no way I can be forced by law. I had to go through the trouble of going to court but then my lawyer took over."

"I look very undisciplined but I'm not! I never really bunked in school and didn't miss a single class in college! The worst I have done was when I was very late and I had to pick up my dad from office because I had the car with me. In the hurry I jumped the red light got caught by the traffic cops. I didn't know the bribe rates at the time and gave him 1000 bucks because I urgently needed to go. Later on I found out a single 100 rupee note would have done fine. I guess the only reason it's stuck in my memory is because I over paid him so much! Though it's not breaking the law as such... All of that is only for the screen!"

"There's a long list! But this can be very objective as something which is considered the epitome of corruption for me could be just a start for someone else. The maximum length I ever went to, in which I really feel I kept a lot of people under stress, was in 1992. I was 18 years old and banged my car. Fortunately I didn't get hurt much but if someone looked at the car it was so wrecked! Everyone who saw the car would have thought the driver didn't survive the accident but I just had one or two bruises, nothing much."

"I don't know what to say, I'm sure I've done lots of bad things. When I was really small, I must have been 4 or 5, I did something I cannot forget. I threw stones at a birds nest. That is criminal! And I didn't throw one! I threw couple of them. Now every time I go through a bad phase think it's that coming back to get me! Imagine if I remember doing it must have been the worst thing! I still remember and really feel bad even now! That's the most criminal and inhumane thing I have done. It's the worst crime that I can never forgive myself for. Haven't gone beyond that and don't think I will. I have never gone against the law expect maybe jumping red lights which I don't do here in Mumbai because there are always cops hiding behind somewhere. In Delhi I still take the liberty sometimes though! I hope this won't show me in bad light!"

"Probably the worst thing I do is I smoke everyday. Other than that I've not done anything against law. There used to be a lot of fights in college with guys but my wife now says I fight with her! In college I used to beat a lot of guys but now my wife beats me everyday!"

"Well, I have lied two or three times to my mom and dad and I think it's not good to lie so it's like a crime to me. On the other hand if one lie gets a smile on someone's face then it's not a crime. A couple of times in school I've lied about my marks. I used to increase my marks by 10 or 20 and tell my mom and dad. They finally got to know about it but at that time they had a smile on face."

White lies, accidents and jumping signals... Either our celebrities have extremely commendable values or they're more skillful with their acting than we imagined! Well, if this was really their closest brush with the law then obviously they leave the crime, drama and controversy for their onscreen counterparts!
