They r mocking saas bahu shows!lol

hehe do any of u feel Chhanchhan story is actually mocking saas bahu shows? 😆

K here is the thing. The MIL is actually black lol..she is manipulative, but where in most other saas bahu shows MIL is ethical, this one is not!

The 3 bahus r extreme cases too!
The dumb one of the most hilarious
The nautakani one is the next, cz her stuff r actually quite funny!
The eldest one is the one to get the chronic self sacrificing gene!!

Ok now in to the mix comes CC, who actually stares as if crazy for the typical saas bahu show accepted norms!!

1. That punishment line!! - haha instead of quaking her her shoes (ok she was barefooted lol but figuratively speaking) she looks skeptical and asks 'punishment for not wearing the pallu?' 😆

2. The girl walks down in a night dress and dressing gown that covers far far more than a sari does!! And when she gets th shell shocked glances, instead of figuring it out she actually looks confused and kinda mutinous too!! look at the expression on CC's face and u will laugh out loud!!
She almost says 'good morning' rofl as her norm, but she rectifies it to a 'Jai sri krishna!' 😆

3. The ROTI MAKER - takes the cake!! 🤣 cz i have honestly wondered about how seriously the other serial bahus take kitchen related punishments! (hehe ok here is a lame confession to make, I used to watch SNS till IPK happened to me.. in my defence I didn't think Gopi had chronic stupidity until a while...plus i used to watch it for Rashi as she was real cute n she used to make me laugh! 😆)
So here also rofl after that 'repentance' instead of punishment the bahus r landed with making 300 rotis n then comes CC with trouble with her pallu lol... (she s so freaking cute with her struggle with the pallu!! hahahaha another funny point 😆) and ends up buying 2 roti makers!!
which is like so obvious when u think of it!!

And I think these CVs have DEFINITELY thought it this way!!

hehehe this is the first saas-bahu show with the kitchen punishments where the couple got together through a love affair and not through an arranged marriage..
Am not very sure...but usually 'jaise mummy kahe' dikras r the norm na..

so anyway... I honestly feel CC is a spoof on all the other saas bahu shows by the way they r either exaggerating the things or make CC put a crazy spin to change them!

cz not just does the girl wear a readymade sari but actually looks incredulous when the saas says a 'rule' to her instead of accepting it!! So much so that the saas has to change the wordings to make her 'understand' what she meant! 🤣

Anyway if this is where this show is going i am sure we r gonna get a good laugh along most of the ride!! 😆

I think more than mocking saas bahu shows, they're going to show that getting so scared of your saas ... especially in this environment, is rather silly. Not talking about the more backward communities, where a saas might actually wield such absolute power ... I haven't come across such families, thankfully, and I hope I never will ... but a MIL can make life unpleasant for her new DIL if she wants ... and the best way to respond is not to get cowed down, but to respond pleasantly and calmly ... The problem with all saas bahu shows is that the bahu always goes dumb and starts crying, allowing the MIL to terrorise her further. In this milieu, it would make no sense at all!

For example, the way Umaben was hoping to terrorize Chhanchhan about the dark punishments that could face her if she refused to keep a pallu over her head ... and Chhanchhan confusedly pointed out how archaic and wrong that thinking was, and how wrong UB's saas was to act that way ... leaving Umaben with nothing to say ... she had to backtrack very quickly! 😆

And if Umaben gets annoyed about the labor saving method of making chapatis, I hope Chhanchhan points out equally calmly and logically that if you have a lot of work, it makes sense to use labor saving devices to complete it ...

I'm looking forward to seeing the Umaben-Chhanchhan face-off when Umaben finds out how Chhanchhan has completed the task given!

They are showing what happens in real lives hahaha! I am sure 90% of girls have no idea what to in their in laws house on the first day hahahaha!

I just loved the episode! It was fun!
I ezpecially love the scene when CC's family calls her up.
That was the moment of the day for me...
the love, the tension, the friendliness...simply amazing!!

u so right...i am really fed up with saas bahu shows...with their continous rules n principles a la noix...

haven't seen the episode yet but it sounds good, and i hope this is the direction the show will take, the ph do comedy/spoofs well i've heard and we all need a good laugh now! 😛 will make it fun, while gently taking the mickey out of the norm stuff on tv that i just cant relate to and neither can cc looks like! i hope this is so, will be different and get more people watching too 😛
