Sona has changed the rules
Right from her debut in Dabangg, Sonakshi Sinha had made it clear to filmmakers that she is not comfortable doing bold and intimate scenes on screen. The daddy's girl wanted to abide by the rules her father, actor Shatrughan Sinha had laid out for her initially. But looks like Sona has finally made a few changes to the "dos and don'ts" list after all. Her bold scenes with Akshay Kumar and Imran Khan in Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Again have triggered off the buzz that Sona is ready to shed her coy image as an actress. Sources confirm that the actress will from now on, not restrict herself from doing a risqu scene if the script requires her to do so.
Having said that, the actress will make sure she doesn't offend or disrespect her father's words. "Sonakshi is sensible enough to make her own decisions. It's not fair to restrict an actor's talent and she understands that. Look at Vidya Balan. She had to shed her inhibitions to do challenging roles. But Sona will never go against her father or do anything to embarrass him," says a trade analyst.
