Scene 1 ' Foreword
Keeping with the tradition of the series, our trio and the rest of our team together request the audience to respect Mother Ganga and save her from getting polluted.
Scene 2 ' Mussoorie Marketplace
Abhijeet sir, Daya sir and the others are seen moving through a market in Mussoorie at nighttime along with a local police inspector, discussing about Dhenchu. They remark that Dhenchu didn't get back to Mumbai despite ACP sir telling him so after apparently rescuing him from the DCP. Shreya points out that they found his watch near the body and implies that he could be dead, but the inspector insists that one of his informers saw Dhenchu at room no. 106 of one Amar hotel. Vineet spots the said hotel up ahead.
Scene 3 ' Amar Hotel
The officers breach room no. 106 at the hotel and find it vacant. They hear sounds of trickling water in the washroom and find a chair draped with ropes in it ' possibly the place where Dhenchu had been bound. Vineet finds an empty cup that's still warm, while Shreya notes that the ceiling fan had been left running, implying that Dhenchu was there until a short while ago. The hotel owner says that he didn't see Dhenchu exiting the place.
Scene 4 ' A Room
We see a group of men in a room; somebody starts pounding the door and calling out. One of the men opens the door, and a nervous guy stumbles in and locks the door before revealing that Mukesh (the thug whose corpse was found in the previous episode) has been killed by DCP Chitrole, and it's soon going to be their turn. One of them suggests that they change their hideout at once. Their boss wonders what to do with Dhenchu, who is bound and held captive in the washroom. The other guy suggests that they kill him and abandon his body there. They raise their guns at a sobbing Dhenchu.
Scene 5 ' A Room
ACP sir, Purvi and Pankaj are seen with Dr. Salunkhe in a makeshift lab. ACP sir reveals that man they'd found dead in the final scene of the third Rishikesh episode was a CID intelligence agent. He further says that Chitrole is the murderer, because he was seen entering the room with a gun. Dr. Salunkhe is surprised and informs him that Mukesh was killed by Chitrole as well, as evidenced by his blood found upon the body. He adds that Chitrole apparently forgot to remove something from the corpse ' a chip concealed behind the ear.
Scene 6 ' Temple
We see DCP Chitrole cautiously moving outside a large Buddhist temple. He follows a series of hidden paper sketches of various stupas located around the temple and finally meets a guy who hands him a photo of Dhenchu apparently dead. The guy says that Dhenchu was murdered in Mussoorie and his body was thrown down over the mountains in George Everest, and adds that he does not wish to work for Chitrole anymore. Chitrole chides and threatens him. The guy blames him for committing mass murder and says that the CID team will get him for it. Chitrole says that he'll mercilessly strike down anybody in his path, even if it is the ACP.
Scene 7 ' A Shop
The local inspector leads ACP sir, Daya sir, Purvi and Pankaj into a photography shop where the contents of the hidden chip have been successfully extracted, which include photos of the men who had been murdered. ACP sir remarks that these people were familiar with each other and Chitrole, who killed them. The shop guy says that there are four more people in the photos. ACP sir says that Chitrole will undoubtedly try to finish them off as well. The local inspector points out that one of the photos features George Everest, which is located atop mountains in Mussoorie.
Scene 8 ' George Everest
Our trio and everyone else drive up the mountainside to George Everest and walk up to a steep cliff overlooking a drop thousands of feet below. Daya sir remarks that anybody surviving in such a perilous location is unlikely. ACP sir instructs them to look around for Dhenchu. There's a lengthy sequence of the officers spreading out across the treacherous terrain to carry out the task. Eventually, our duo descends to the lower levels of the mountain where Abhijeet sir finds the microphone-fitted pen which ACP sir had given to Dhenchu. They look over the precipice but are unable to see anything else. ACP sir instructs them to descend down further. Vineet and Panjak throw them a rope, and we have pretty well-shot sequence of Abhi-Daya climbing down the cliff wall in mountaineering gear.
They eventually reach a small section of shrubbery and find the corpse of one of the five men from the chip's photos lying there. Abhijeet sir informs ACP sir about this, who instructs them to have the body moved upwards. This is done, and the body is laid out on the ground. Purvi notes that the guy had suffered a single gunshot to the back. Vineet finds a mobile phone in his pocket, which shows that DCP Chitrole was the last person in the call log. Abhijeet sir and Daya sir scale the cliff wall and climb back up, and inform ACP sir that they couldn't find any sign of Dhenchu down below. Pankaj finds the receipt of a cloth shop in one Paltan Bazaar in the victim's other pocket. ACP sir wonders if the DCP's next target is in that location.
Scene 9 ' Bishamber Sahai & Sons
Abhijeet sir and the others ask some local policemen for directions and arrive at the aforementioned cloth shop. Abhijeet sir shows the guy there photos of the other five men. He recognizes one of them and says that the man had come to the shop 15 minutes earlier and began enquiring about some parcel, which left the shopkeeper confused as he knew nothing about it. Soon, another man with a gun entered the shop, upon seeing whom the first guy fled in wide-eyed terror. He recognizes Chitrole as the second man, and informs them that he'd moved towards the right of the shop outside.
Scene 10 ' CNI Inter College
Abhijeet sir and the others rush in the direction indicated by the shop guy and hear a gun go off in a school building. They draw their own guns, and Abhijeet sir instructs them to split up and infiltrate the building. The staff begins questioning them, but Abhijeet sir informs them about the situation and requests them to move to safety. Another gunshot is heard upstairs, and we see the guy from the photo running for his life. DCP Chitrole is seen following him with his gun drawn. After a lengthy stalking/chase sequence, Abhijeet sir, Shreya and Vineet find the photo guy cowering in a corner and hold him at gunpoint. Chitrole arrives and quickly shoots him in the arm before leaving. Abhijeet sir instructs Shreya and Vineet to take him to the hospital and tries to stop Chitrole, who calmly flees. Abhijeet sir aims his gun, but doesn't shoot.
Scene 11 ' A Hospital
The CID team meets the injured guy, Rohit, at the hospital, who says that they're secret agents out on a covert mission for the country, and Chitrole somehow found out about them. Abhijeet sir suspiciously notes that he looks quite nervous. Rohit claims that Chitrole threatened to expose their true identities if they didn't pay him money, which would've resulted in their enemies identifying and killing them. When they complained to Chitrole's superior, he stopped visiting office and went after them. ACP sir remarks that this is why Chitrole had been hiding everything from them. Rohit says that Chitrole murdered one of them at Haridwar, and the other at George Everest. Abhijeet sir sharply asks him what he was doing at the Paltan Bazaar. Rohit says that he wished to buy his wife clothes for her birthday, and Chitrole hunted him down there. ACP sir severely asks him if he has any proof to show that Chitrole indeed demanded money from him. Rohit says that they possess recordings of all his calls, which he's given to Amit after being followed by Chitrole. Daya sir asks for Amit's number.
Scene 12 ' A Bridge
The entire team is seen discussing Chitrole's behavior atop a bridge. ACP sir says that Chitrole has sunk to despicable levels and orders them to shoot him at sight. Abhijeet sir is taken aback and suggests arresting him instead, but ACP sir insists that Chitrole will continue his rampage of slaughtering innocents
unless they take this drastic step. Daya sir says that Chitrole will likely go after Amit now, since he possesses the evidence against him. ACP sir tells him to contact Amit. Daya sir calls him, but the line goes unanswered. ACP sir instructs Purvi to track down Amit's phone.
Scene 13 ' An Open Area/Crevice
Purvi tracks Amit's phone using what looks like an iPhone app (?). They search the general area and Pankaj finds the phone dismantled and buried under some rocks. Daya sir says that Amit must be somewhere in the vicinity, and they follow the path into a waterlogged rocky crevice. DCP Chitrole turns up ahead of them and, without warning, shoots Pankaj in the arm. ACP sir is enraged and orders Daya sir to strike back; the latter shoots Chitrole in the leg (check out his reaction if you want a laugh). There's a brief shootout, but Chitrole manages to escape. Daya sir, Purvi and Pankaj move deeper into the crevice and find Amit's corpse in an overflowing cavern.
Scene 14 ' The Makeshift Lab
ACP sir is furious that they were unable to save Amit, and the wounded Chitrole managed to give them the slip. He says that Rohit and Shyam are the only agents left alive now. Dr. Salunkhe finds a rune in ancient Pali tattooed upon Amit's chest, which apparently translates to a pot of gold.
Scene 15 ' Pot Of Gold
Our team arrives at the structure known as the Pot Of Gold. ACP sir remarks that there must be something of great importance here for Amit to have the place's name tattooed upon his chest. As they approach the ruins, a number of armed goons emerge and open fire at them. A heavy battle breaks out, and the cops retaliate fiercely until the goons are forced to retreat.
The CID charges into the ruins and starts dispatching them. ACP sir spots Chitrole attempting to sneak away and angrily says that he was the one who gathered these men to attack them. They start looking for him in the ruins.
We briefly see Chitrole hanging around in one of the areas; our team eventually gets there and finds a bloodstained cloth on the ground. ACP sir tells them to terminate Chitrole. He sees Chitrole moving up ahead shoots him down without hesitation. Abhi-Daya are shocked to realize that he killed his own senior, a first time in the CID's history. 😲 However, when Vineet turns over the corpse, we see that it is actually the nervous guy from Scene 4 dressed up as Chitrole. Everybody is obviously surprised. The real Chitrole turns up and greets them, and calmly surrenders his gun to show that he isn't hostile. He reveals that the guy just killed was one of the gang members; Chitrole assured him that the CID wouldn't attack the DCP and gave him his clothes. ACP sir questions him about the other three killings.
Scene 16 ' The Bridge
Chitrole reveals that all five of those so-called victims, including the three killed, were traitors out on betraying the country and would've gotten past the borders from Rishikesh if he hadn't went after them. He also adds that Rohit's claim about him demanding money is a lie. Daya sir asks him why he didn't let them know about this when they were in Rishikesh as well. Chitrole says that he was concerned since the case was a top secret one. ACP sir angrily says that not only did he trust Dhenchu more than then, but let him die after that as evidenced by him being seen entering the room. Chitrole points out that nobody witnessed him exit it though, and reveals that Dhenchu is alive, that he managed to rescue him at George Everest in time. ACP sir questions him about the item the criminals intended to smuggle out of India. Chitrole says that that item has not been found on either Rohit or Amit. Abhijeet sir recalls that Rohit had went to the Paltan Bazaar to retrieve some parcel from the cloth shop, and realizes that his actual purpose was to get the item hidden there.
Scene 17 ' The Shop Owner's House
ACP sir, Daya sir, Purvi and Pankaj visit the house of one of the cloth shop owner, where a party is being held in the garden. Despite Daya sir patiently trying to ask him about Rohit, the man behaves in a very rude and unhelpful manner until finding himself at the receiving end of a tight slap. He confesses that the parcel had contained a blue shirt, in the collar of which he had hidden a chip. ACP sir remarks that it must've contained something really crucial since Rohit had been searching for it. The owner adds that he gave the parcel to Amit. Daya sir remarks that they didn't find anything on Amit's body. Purvi says that he could've possibly given it to Rohit. ACP sir says that they should've searched Rohit thoroughly. Daya sir gets a call informing him that Rohit has escaped from the hospital in an ambulance. ACP sir says that they need to hunt down Rohit before the chip ends up in the wrong hands.
Scene 18 ' A Park
We see Daya sir dressed up as a Pathan, Abhijeet sir as a photographer sardarji and Purvi and Shreya as traditional Kashmiri ladies. They have a jolly good time together
until a displeased ACP sir notices them and calls Daya sir. Daya sir informs him that they've captured the ward boy at the hospital whom Rohit had asked to call a girl, and they're waiting for her to arrive. ACP sir sharply tells him that the girl is already there. Vineet tracks her using another app thingy and says that she's somewhere in the vicinity. ACP sir spots her further on the garden path.
Abhi-Daya, Purvi and Shreya turn up and happily start pestering her hoping to learn something, but she quickly gets away from them and moves to a plant nursery. ACP sir watches from hiding and sees Rohit enter the place with a large bag. Under the pretext of examining the plants, he tiptoes to the lady and begins covert conversation. She informs him that she's got the money. Abhi-Daya and our ladies turn up again, gleefully clicking photos and attempt to snatch Rohit's bag. The two crooks flee; Rohit is soon seized by Daya sir. Purvi and Shreya go after the girl, though it's not shown if they catch her or not. Just as Daya sir prepares to slap Rohit, Abhijeet sir stops him for a quick photo (for some reason, even Rohit smiles 🤣 ). Slappity-SLAP!
Abhijeet sir searches his bag and finds a large chip, which Rohit confesses contains details about the locations of Indian missiles. They criticize his disgraceful betrayal. DCP Chitrole arrives and says that he started hunting down these traitors once he learned what they were doing. Vineet takes away Rohit. Chitrole slyly questions ACP sir about having issued an order to kill him. ACP sir quickly denies this, and so do Abhi-Daya upon being asked.
When Pankaj's turn comes, he shows that he's tattooed "I Love Chitrole" on his forearm. 🤣 Purvi and Shreya show him that they've done the same.
Chitrole is touched
and leaves to cry in a corner. Once he's away, all of them laugh out and rub the writing off their arms. Chitrole watches them break into bhangra
and starts crying even harder.
The episode (and series) ends with a nice shot of our cops enjoying themselves. 😊
