"Nahin! Aisa nahin ho sakta!" Riya started to shout and woke up sweating. She turned to see around her, and calmed her senses when she saw that she was in her room, and she had only been dreaming. She turned to have a look at Ankita and Aryaan. But hopefully they were still sleeping undisturbed by her shouts.

"Gia, where are you? Please come back?" Riya said staring at the ceiling.

The next day

Riya had woken up very early, or if she was truthful, she hadn't even slept at all since that horrible nightmare. "Oh god, will i really have to marry that insulting and suspicious guy!" she said staring up, but unfortunately for her, she didnt receive any answer.

She got up from bed, and went to check on Aryaan sleeping in his cradle. Her heart went out at Aryaan, how cute he looked when he was sleeping. Just like an angel. Sometimes seeing and taking care of Aryaan, had made Riya's maternal instincts awake, she almost hoped she had a kid of herself to look at. She didnt know how she would do when Gia came back and took Aryaan from her. She put her hand to slowly caress Aryaan's cheek, when suddenly she felt Aryaan was very hot. She checked his forehead and guessed he had a fever. For one second, Riya panicked not knowing what to do. Then when she had calmed slightly, she rushed from the bedroom and went to look for a phone. She had to call for a doctor. She had just reached the phone in the hall, when she saw heard someone open a door, and soon she was staring at Arjun in his jogging clothes. He looked very tired, and was sweating a lot. Even then she couldn't stop herself from thinking that he looked very handsome.

"Tu to gayi kam se Ri. You are finding him handsome now! Surely you must have caught the bug also from Aryaan! It's nothing but pure fever making you find him handsome!" she said to herself while looking at him. That's when she remembered she was here for Aryaan, she immediately picked up the phone to call a doctor, when she realised she didnt know any doctor of her own to call at. Whenever she had been ill, she had been to the hospital for treatment. She put down the phone and frowned at Arjun standing there.

"What? Why are you looking like that at me?" Arjun asked.

"I dont know any doctor! And Aryaan is ill? I have to take him to the hospital," she was saying to herself and sped past Arjun to go back to her room. But Arjun had caught her hand and stopped her.

"Kya hua Ri," Arjun almost said Riya, but he quickly corrected himself and said, "Kyu hua Gia?"

"Will you please let me go? Didnt you hear that Aryaan is ill, i'm taking him to a hospital!" Riya shouted, and tried to release Arjun's hold on her hand.

"Stop it, go and look after him. i'll call our family doctor. He'd soon be here!" Arjun said back gently, and released her.

Riya looked at Arjun with gratitude and went away to be with Aryaan. She walked to and fro in her room, till finally the doctor came to examine Aryaan. After some time, the doctor told them that it was only a small fever, and he'd be prescribing some medicines to Aryaan, after which Aryaan would be perfect.

Riya felt very much relieved after this. She had been very scared when Aryaan had fallen ill. She thanked the doctor and Arjun. And then she ignored both men to look after Aryaan. Both men left her alone, and went away.

"My baby, you scared me. What would i tell Gia if you are ill? She'll think i didnt look well after you!" Riya said to Aryaan once the men had gone.

"Oh come on Di, it's just a fever. And besides Gia is hardly in a state to complain," Ankita said angrily.

"Anki, stop it! You dont know what Gia went through!" Riya said looking at Ankita.

"You'll never change Di. I'm going to work! Already i have to bear that old adku, i dont wanna fight also with you," Ankita said. She bent, gave a kiss on Aryaan's cheek and gave Riya a flying kiss and went away.

Riya looked after Aryaan till the baby fell asleep. Then she went down to have her breakfast, where Mrs Rawte also was having her breakfast. She said a polite good morning to Mrs Rawte, and sat down. She had just started to eat when suddenly she wanted to vomit. So she quickly ran away from the table and went to vomit. After some time she washed her face, and came out wiping it with a towel.

Mrs Rawte was standing outside of the door waiting for her, "Kya hua Riya? Sab theek to hein nah?"

"Ji Mrs Rawte, mein theek hoon, maybe something didnt went well with me. Or maybe i'm just tired!" Riya said, and looked at Mrs Rawte who was looking strangely at her.

"Chalo, we'd continue our breakfast then," Mrs Rawte said gently taking Riya by her hand.

"Nahin, i dont feel like eating anything!" Riya said fanning herself some air with her hands.

"You must eat something. It's not good to stay with an empty stomach in this case," Mrs Rawte said gently.

Riya was confused at Mrs Rawte's tone, but she thought that maybe Mrs Rawte knew that Aryaan was ill, and that maybe she'd need all her strength to look after him. So Riya meekly followed Mrs Rawte till the breakfast table and sat down again.

"What do you wanna eat Riya?" Mrs Rawte asked.

"Something sour, pata nahin i feel like eating something sour right now," Riya said. Since she was a child, she loved eating sour things, and she would used to be eating them at all time of the day. It's only since she'd started to work, that she almost only ate cereals in the morning and sometimes she'd even skipped diner at times.

Riya while thinking about her memories, failed to hear the gasp of Mrs Rawte. After some time she looked at Mrs Rawte, and again Mrs Rawte was looking at her in a peculiar way.

"Is there anything on my face?" Riya asked politely.

"Nothing. But it seems we shouldn't waste any more time now. Things are much much more critical than i thought," Mrs Rawte said and went away.

Riya didnt pay much attention to Mrs Rawte's words, and ate her breakfast silently.

At the ETF Office

Ankita reached the office quite early, and when she reached no one was here. She went to sit on her chair, and was thinking what to do, when suddenly the door was opened and Rathore came inside.

He was shocked seeing her in his office, that Ankita couldn't prevent herself from saying, "Kyu hua? This is also my office now? Or can't i come early now?"

Rathore just glared at her, and went to take his seat at his table. He ignored Ankita for most of the time, till suddenly Arjun knocked on the door and came inside.

"Rathore, we have a new case! A girl has been kidnapped! This is the fourth case this month!" Arjun said.

"But we didnt have any clues about the other three girls. I'm sure this time also we wont find anything! But let's go on the crime scene!" Rathore said and went away from there.

"Am i invisible? Neither Arjun said hi, nor Rathore told me to come along?" Ankita said to herself still seated on her chair. All of a sudden, the door was wrenched open and Rathore came inside saying angrily, "Miss Ankita will you come with us? Or do you need a special invitation to come!" and left. Quickly Ankita took her things and ran after him.

Like Rathore had guessed, they didnt get much evidences to point in anyway, but fortunately this time they had an eye witness. It was a beggar, who was sitting next to a tree, he was lying down at that time in a corner, and had a sheet on him to protect him from sun, hence no one had seen him at all.
