1. A Walk to Remember
   Based on Nicholas Sparks best-selling novel, this 2002 film features Shane West as Landon and Mandy Moore as his newfound love, Jamie, who he soon finds out is dying of leukemia. It's a beautiful film with a perfect love story between two people from different worlds, but yet so similar.
   
2. When Harry Met Sally
   After its 1989 release, When Harry Met Sally became an instant classic. The audiences completely fell in love with Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal's tale of two New Yorkers who fear that having sex would ruin their friendship. It's a rom-com that would make you want to believe in love. If you haven't watched this film, you have no idea whaqt you've missed out on!
   
3. Ghost
   Ghost, released in 1990, saw young widow Molly (Demi Moore) contacted by her dead husband (Patrick Swayze) to explain he was murdered. The film shows that true love can last forever — even after death. Though Patrick's character dies early in the movie, his love for his girlfriend (Demi) lives on.
4. Love Story
   With 13 Oscar nominations and 11 victories, Love Story is one of the best love stories one must have ever watched. If you love watching rom-coms you really can't miss out on this one. Ali MacGraw and Ryan O'Neal sizzle on screen.
   
5. Maine Pyar Kiya
   Directed by Sooraj Barjatiya, this is one of those evergreen films that set the launch pad for Salman Khan. The young duo of Prem (Salman ) & Suman (Bhagyasree) and their struggle for a happy reunion made teenagers belive that love begins with friendship.
   
6. Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (DDLJ)
   This iconic film was directed by Aditya Chopra in 1995. Think of love and this film is sure to corss your mind at least once. Raj (SRK) & Simran (Kajol) broke all records at the Box Office with their chemistry in the film. In fact, Maratha Mandir theatre in Mumbai even today shows DDLJ. The film has now entered its 900th week of uninterrupted run.
   
7. Darr
   This is a violent love story, no doubt! But shows to what extent can a lover go, to win the love of his ladylove. Starring SRK, Juhi Chawla & Sunny Deol, the film gave a new prospective to SRK's image.
   
8. Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam
   Sanjay Leela Bhansali has truly mastered emotional subjects and this is one of those films. This film is remembered not just for its sountracks but also for the chemistry that Aishwarya and Salman Khan shared onscreen. It's a brilliant film and has Salman at it's best.
   
9. Veer Zaara
   This film starring SRK & Preity Zinta was one of the blockbusters of 2004. After a long time, a film made the audience cry and it was Veer Zaara. It was a beautiful love story of an Indian army officer in love with a Pakistani girl.
   
10. Dil Toh Pagal Hai
    Directed by Yash Chopra, the film's tag line: 'Someone somewhere is made for you' got people to theatres. The film was a romantic musical hit and created ripples in Indian cinema by winning many awards and appreciation. It was a modern age film, which once again proved that Yash Chopra was the king of romance.
