Prologue
RING RING!!
Rey was lying on his bed, when his phone started ringing. He grabbed a pillow and put it over his hears in an attempt to stop the ringing, however, it felt like the ringtone was just getting louder. He looked over at the clock and saw the time, 3AM. Groaning once again, he sat up on his bed, ready to kill whoever was on the phone. He picked up his mobile and looked at the caller ID, 'Swayam Calling'.
R (picking up the phone, still half asleep): Hello
Sw (angry, shouting): REY, DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT TIME IT IS?
R: Abe, yeh toh meri line honi chaiye hai, why are you calling me at 3 in the morning
Sw: Don't try to act innocent Rey, just because we are best friends, and Ive given you permission to date my baby sister, that doesn't mean ke tum aur Taani raat bhar bahar raho, where are you?
R (confused): Swayam, what are you talking about, I'm in bed.
Sw: WHAT?!?!?!? I'll kill you Rey, tune meri behen ke saath' I'll kill you.
R (even more confused): Swayam, ek minute, tu kya bol raha hai, mujhe kuch samaj nahin aa raha, saaf saaf bol.
Sw: Dekh Rey, I had clearly told you that Taani's curfew is 11PM, and it is now 3AM, and you still have not dropped her home, and now you are telling me you are in bed, Main tujhe maar daloonga Rey.
R (totally awake): Wait a minute, Taani's not home.
Sw: If you haven't dropped her home, obviously she's not at home.
R (panicking): Swayam, Taani went home alone today, she left college early because she had to do some work for VP sir at DJ college, and I had rehearsals, so she insisted on going home straight from DJ college, I haven't even spoken to her since the afternoon.
Sw (panicking too): WHAT? I thought she was with you, if she's not with you, and she's not home, where is she?
R: Kahin woh Sharon ke ghar toh nahin gayi, hold on I'll put Sharon on conference call.
Rey called up Sharon, and she finally picked up after 5 or 6 rings.
Sh (angry): REY WHY ARE YOU CALLING ME AT 3 O CLOCK IN THE MORNING? HAVE YOU EVEN HEARD OF A THING CALLED SLEEP, IT IS WHAT NORMAL PEOPLE DO AT NIGHT, YOU REAL'
R (cutting her off): Is Taani with you?
Sh (confused): What?
Sw: Sharon, Taani, tumhare saath hai?
Sh: Swayam, tum bhi, itno raat ko?
R: Sharon, woh sab baad mein, is Taani with you?
Sh: No. (realizing what that means) Ek second, Swayam, Taani ghar pe nahin hai?
Sw: nahin, Its 3am, shes never stayed out this late, woh toh agar paanch minute bhi late hoti hai, toh phone karti hai.
Sh: have you tried her phone?
Sw: Haan, it's switched off.
R: Swayam, I'm coming to yours.
Sh: haan, main bhi.
R: nahin, Sharon, you call the gang, especially the girls, shayad Taani kisi aur ke ghar gayi ho.
Sh: OK, don't worry guys, we will find her, her phone battery must have died or something or she would have definitely called.
R+Sw: I hope so.
Saying this all of them hung up the phone, Rey headed to Swayam's residence and Sharon started calling up the gang one by one.

It had now been two hours, and it was 5AM, Rey and Swayam were losing their minds and were pacing in the living room. Suddenly, the doorbell rang and both of them ran to open the door with hopeful faces. Swayam opened the door with a huge smile on his face.
Sw: TA'
He stopped mid sentence when he realized it wasn't Taani at the door, instead he was face to face with all of the gang, with Sharon at the front.
Sh (coming inside with everyone following her): Taani ka kuch pata chala?
Swayam and Rey both shook their head as if saying 'no' with morbid looks on their faces.
V: While coming over to yours, we checked at college too, she isn't there either.
Nil: Guys, where could she be?
Aas: And woh phone types kyun nahin utha rahi.
All of them sat around the living room, wondering what to do, how to find Taani. It was now 6AM, and they all knew they had to do something.
Sh (slowly): Guys, I really didn't want to say this, but I think we should go to the police.
Gang: WHAT?
Sh: Guys, I know it's not something we want to do, but we can't just sit around waiting, we have checked any usual hangout that Taani may have visited, but there aren't many, and all the people she knows in this city are all in this room right now. We have to do something.
Sw: I think you are right Sharon.
They are about to leave when Swayam's mobile rings, he looks down to see the caller ID, and gets a shock, when he sees,
'TAANI CALLING'
