Tanvi Shewale, who plays Roshni in Rahul Kumar Tewary’s Udne Ki Aasha, feels that introducing new twists not only strengthens the storyline but also makes an actor’s performance more engaging and layered. According to her, constant changes in the narrative keep actors on their toes and emotionally invested in their characters.

Twists That Change the Pace of Performance

Speaking about the current track, Tanvi shared that several twists and turns are lined up in the show. She explained that these developments directly affect the pace and energy of her performance. At present, the story has reached a point where relationships are shifting, especially between Roshni, Renuka, and Tejas. Each change brings a new emotional challenge, making every scene different from the previous one. She added that such twists add thrill and prevent performances from becoming monotonous.

Tanvi also believes that sudden narrative shifts make characters more exciting to play. She said she truly enjoys portraying different shades of Roshni. Because Roshni has grey areas, not everyone immediately understands her actions. However, Tanvi finds it interesting that the audience is slowly beginning to sympathize with her character. This gradual change in perception, according to her, makes the role even more meaningful and rewarding, despite being emotionally demanding at times.

Exploring Emotional Layers of Roshni

On a personal level, Tanvi enjoys performing emotional and dramatic twists the most, especially when they explore deeper layers of a character. She pointed out that Roshni is currently going through a very different phase in the show. People are sympathising with her; her relationship with Tejas has completely changed, and even the family dynamics feel reversed. Exploring these emotional shifts excites her as an actor and keeps her connected to the character.

When it comes to preparing for such scenes, Tanvi keeps her approach simple. She reads the scene once or twice and then performs it instinctively. Having played Roshni for over two years, she feels she understands the character deeply and can naturally sense how Roshni would react, even in unexpected situations.

Adaptability Is Key in Television

Tanvi also stressed the importance of adaptability for television actors. She shared that TV actors are used to fast-moving storylines, hectic schedules, and tight deadlines. While it may take time to understand a character initially, once that connection is built, handling sudden changes becomes easier. Fast-paced storytelling, she added, does not affect actors much because they are trained to work under constant pressure.

Talking about what lies ahead, Tanvi revealed that viewers can expect more twists, emotional moments, and thrilling sequences. Relationships, especially between Roshni, Renuka, and Tejas, will continue to be tested, with situations unfolding in ways the audience has not seen before. She hopes viewers enjoy this new phase as much as the team enjoys bringing it to life.
