Story of Gokarn In DKDM- with PICS

I dont now how many guys have heard the story of Gokarna. I have been to the place in the past and its really famous.

This story was supposed to be shown but sad DKDM always ignores stories of south INDIA😭😭

It goes like this (typed by me. not copy pasted from Wikipedia😆)

We have already seen that Mahadev agrees to become a linga and Ravan has to take him to lanka in linga form only. But mahadev puts a condition that ravan shouldnt put the ling on the ground. If he puts the ling down then the ling will remain fixed at that position only and ravan wont be able to lift it.😆

Now when Ravan reaches gokarna, Our ganesh decides to fool him as gannu wants mahadev back at kailash as parvati mata is missing mahadev.

So at Gokarna Ganesh blocks ravan's way and tells him to have some rest (actually my granny told me that he asks ravan to go for toilet😆 Dont know wat DKDM is going to show😆)

And Ganesh tells Ravan that he'll hold the link while ravan is away. And our clever ganesh puts the ling down.

Lo Behold!!! Once Ravan is back, he is shell shocked and is unable to life the ling back and the ling remains fixed there. he's mad at ganesh and hits ganesh on his head with his fist.

A hole is created on ganesh's head.

The linga and ganesha(with a hole on his head) can be found at gokarna.
Its a beautiful place. MUST VISIT!!!😆

Notice the head on Ganapati's head.

This place is in karnataka(where i currently reside😆)

What they are showing is the Vaidyanath Jyotirling's story. I guess it was mentioned in the precap.

ya i know. me too saw the precap. but i think they r twisting and mixing things up. vaijanath story was not just exactly this as far as i ve heard. they have messed up the whole thing😆

It was not Ganesh ji, It was Vishnu ji who fooled raavan, With the maya of Vishnu ji Raavan wanted to pee but he had linga in hands then Vishnu ji appeared as Sadhu n Raavan handed over the linga to Sadhu n asked him to hold it till he come back, But when he went to pee it did'nt end n continued like a river is flowing after many hours the Sadhu i mean Vishnu ji put the Linga on ground n Ravan can't help it, You can hear it in Shiv Amritwani " they clear say Laghu shanka n all maya by Vishnu ji"

dear there are many versions of the story.

the story im talking abt is gokarna's story. this place is in karnataka.

and the ganesh murti these has a hole in the head.

the story im telling is of that place im pretty sure.

just google gokarna ganapati. u ll know. there's no temple of vishnu ji in that place.

the story ur saying may be also there in some puran im not saying ur wrong. but this story is of gokarna and is true.

Yes i have always heard of this version but i dont knw wat are they going to show DKDM..

so this is wat i was saying. he story is of gokarn not vaijyanath.
they r mixing it up.

now tey are showing almost exactly wat i ve described. ganesh fooling ravan. 😆

Yes, the GOkarn's story is true... Gokarn is my native place.. my ancestors were pujari of Gokarn temple i.e Bhadrakali temple... My dad said the linga is in Gokarna.. dont kn why its not mentioned anywhere :(
