I was actually looking forward to RK - Sultan face off in the new track. But the spoilers about Sultan moving into RK Mansion and RK insecure about madhu and Sultan have really put me off. Hope this is just a bad rumour .. Really dont want this ghisa-pita track. Sultan, after 4 months of super oppurtunities , hasnt managed to impress and is absolutely no takkar for RK!
The cvs want to use SR track when trp levels are down again. So to delay SR , they sped up Sultan's unconvincing dukhi story so much that he achieved in half day ( truth about his parents) what would normally have taken days if not months. Rashid's storytelling was soo boring. One minute he was the extremely drunk guy who couldnt balance himself. The next minute he blabbered the thirty year old story with so much perfection as if it happened the day before!!
They made a joke of the wedding episodes. And avoided two main things associated with any indian wedding Kanyadaan & Bidaai...!!
Cant believe the MEIEJ we saw last week was the same we have been used to seeing previously. Every incident/ episode was so beautifully handled be it the Ganpati sequence, the Mr India episode, the drunken night, Holi, KC and many many more...
And whats this Sulbala?? There is no such term! There never was. Its just a fragment of imagination of some so- called small fandom. I hope the cvs dont try the jealousy, insecurity, love triangle track again coz its going to fall flat on the face.
So true, this show has shown such amazing scenes and moments like you mentioned, not only that but even the smaller incidents like Madhu feeding RK after he had been shot on numerous occasions, when Radha Ji felt the food was poisoned, the Pereshaan dance sequence, the RK Raat Akeli hain dance sequence, all of these moments were created by two main people and they were RK & Madhu, those two alone can bring the magic of M:EIEJ to life and I too felt that it was a cop out to have the wedding sequence marred by the whole Sultan back story.
But let's see, i suppose they want to move the story forward and so they should, and perhaps they need to introduce new characters which is fine, but I just want those characters to be justified and well sketched out, rather than have one character being forced upon us with mediocre tracks.
