If any of you were in Santacruz airport on Monday morning (Mumbai), then you know what i am talking about😆

Diwakar was at the airport with his parents !! They were going to Delhi and my family and i were going to Chennai... i saw his dad then got excited and ran up to him and shook his hands and said we were big fans of him and were very happy that he did so well in SRGMP. he is really sweet.... very down to earth (as it showed in the show too !!) and even his parents !! none of them look any different😉 i wish i had taken some pictures but it was all of a sudden and i couldn't even get an autograph kyunki they were just giving away their boarding passes as soon as i came lekhin koi baat nahin i am very happy !! i would post the whole convo lekhin it's late at night😆

Thanks for sharing. I felt Diwakar's parents were very humble with good manners. His mom I found quite pretty lady.... the kind I would want to get a hug from, lols. All the best to Diwakar 👏

Me - Namaste !! hi Diwakar, i'm Ankita, kaise hain aap ? (shook hands)
Diwakar - bas majama chu (didn't know he was Guju), aap ?
Me - fine fine... (said hi to his parents) I saw you here at the airport and had to come see you ! We're going to Chennai in about 15 mins, you're going to Delhi ?
Diwakar - yep, going back home, have a nice time in Chennai ! !
Me - thank you ! my whole family and everyone were very big fans of you.... it feels like we know you and your family so well because we see you all the time 😆
Diwakar - oh yes, thanks so much for the support (parents also smiled, nice people).

It was so nice of you to share this meeting with us. Diwakar is a sweet intelligent kid who have had to battle adversities all his life, and one has to admire his spirit, determination and josh for life.
He also has loving and caring parents who will do anything for him, that was evident during the competition.
No doubt he has a a very good voice, but can only sing soulful songs, He weathered the competition well, and he nearly won, I think he lost by only about 3000 votes. I Just wonder what he is doing these days, last I heard, he did the Asha album with the 4 other champs, and he has done some concerts with Sameer.He and Sanchita was also slated to sing for Bhappida. in his new album
