Dadabhai and Agantuk were standing on two different sides of the bridge. Pakhi standing at the mid of the bridge, wanted to run towards her Agantuk and forget about Kaaliganj's responsibility. But how could she play with the sentiments of her respected father-in-law who was concerned about the sudden death of Shivom's dad. Choosing which direction of the bridge to go was so tough that she took a drastic step. She folded her hands in respect to greet Dadabhai one last time, looked at the love of her life Agantuk with gleaming eyes full of love and jumped off the bridge into the rapid stream flowing beneath.
Pakhi kept flowing in the stream for a span of time that seemed to be infinite. This lucid dream of hers made her restless and while sleeping she started panting for breath. Just then his concerned hubby Agantuk woke up, noticed her panting, held her hand and started patting her forehead. Slowly, Pakhi went off to peaceful sleep in the arms of his saviour in all senses. While she slipped into peaceful sleep, Agantuk looked at the clock. It was 5 AM on a winter morning. He turned back, kissed her forehead, clinged her to his chest and went to sleep again. He was never going to let anything happen to her, not even in dreams. He was never going to let anything scare her.

PSun rays seived through the curtains and entered their love nest. Sun in Mumbai was far more intense than Bengal. Pakhi slowly opened her eyes and got up from her bed. She remoed the curtains and went to the mirror to see her face. She looked as fresh as a winter morning's dew. As she turned behind, her heart skipped a beat. She was in Agantuk's arms. He looked into her innocent eyes, held her close and whispered into her ears, "Pakhi, you are never alone. I am with you always".
Pakhi wasn't aware that she had been dreaming and gasping -for breath every night. She looked up into his concerned eyes, smiled, blushed and cliged to his chest.
