Sorry for not updating but guys my grandfather had an operation 😕and I was really busy with that. He was really weak and we all had to care of him so I couldn't update! I know you all waited and I am sorry for that I hope you understand.
My Daddu is okay shokay now but he still needs your prayers guys!😊

And thanks for your lovely response on chapter 11. It was really a turn on ( to right chapter 12😉)

"Khushi! Drink this." Said Garima giving Khushi a glass of milk.

"Yuk... Ma I am getting late!" she said trying with an excuse to run away from that white evil.

"Shut up and drink." Said Garima in a no nonsense tone glaring Khushi .

Khushi made the worst possible disgusting face she could but drank that white liquid after receiving the one of the rare glares of her mother.

"God knows how will you do in your sasural? There always has to be someone after you to take your care because madam is always busy in taking care of others. Please learn to take care of yourself also betu." She said with all motherly warm.

"She don't have to aunty. We will be there to pamper her."

Both Garima and Khushi dropped their conversation in between and looked at the source of that cheerful voice.

"Anjali di?" asked Khushi in suprise.

"Namaste aunty!" anjali folded her hands to greet Garima and then went forward to hug Khushi.

"Anjali beta! What a surprise! You here?" garima asked smiling.

"Why aunty is it not my home?" pouted anjali animatedly.

"No no beta. You are always welcome. It is just that we are happily surprised." Said garima leading anjali to the sofa. Khushi wiped her face of that creamy solution and followed them.

"aunty Dadi sent me today to kidnap you for the engagement shopping." Said anjali.

"Oh... beta offcourse. I will be happy to get kidnapped. We will do it together. But beta Khushi..."

"I know aunty we have a very busy bride and groom so we are leaving them this time for the engagement shopping." She said dramatically and then turning to Khushi said "But Khushi ji... I was thinking if you could go with chotey at your lunch time and select your engagement ring. I mean it will be better if both of you go together and select rings for each other according to your choice AND without us the 'kabbab mein haddi'?" she said winking at the last statement.

Khushi looked down shyly understanding what anjali meant by that, indicating the dinner night's incident where Arnav told them strictly that he wants to go for a walk with Khushi alone.

"Off course beta. It will be a good idea." Said garima to anjali.

"Okay Khushi ji! Chotey will pick you up at lunch." Said anjali and Khushi nodded.

"Di... If you don't mind can I??" she asked anjali's permission to start for office glancing at the clock which was showing 8:45 am.

"Ya... ya go darling. As it is you driver is waiting for you." Anjali blurted in a naughty way.

"Driver?" asked garima confused.

"Yess... aunty ji!! Driver Arnav. Arnav is going to drop Khushi today."

" Khushi you should have told me. God! Arnav beta is waiting for you! Now hurry up." Garima panicked.

Khushi just looked down guiltily realizing all the moment that she seriously forgot that he will pick her up. And if it was not anjali di she would have sat into her cab and drove away as a daily routine. God how can she be so forgetful.

"I am sorry ma... voh"

"okay okay!Now hurry up!" said garima.

Khushi nodded and giving anjali and garima a warm hug and ran downstairs.

"Good Morning " said the three piece suit man leaning against his white S.U.V with his hand crossed across his chest.

"Good morning Arnav ji" replied Khushi.

"So... lets go?" said Arnav opening front door for her.

Khushi just nodded her head and got in the front seat beside Arnav. Arnav closed Khushi's door and sat on his driver seat and headed towards her office.

"Di must have told you about the lunch plan?" asked Arnav while taking a left turn.

"Yeah... she has!" replied Khushi.

"So be ready I will be there to pick you up!" said Arnav as he stopped at entrance of Khushi's office.

"Thank you Arnav ji!"

"Not again Khushi. I told you not to thanks me for dropping you... I.."

"Not for this. But for yesterday's night" she smiled and as in daze got up a little from her seat and and gave him a great full hug.

Arnav could not help but just reciprocated the hug and said "You are always welcome" with a smile.

"Deepu???" Khushi asked in surprise by seeing the man standing infront of her.

"Khushi?" he said recognizing her in an instant.

"God! How are you? I mean what are you doing here and where were you all these days?" her excitement reaching her limits.

"Calm down Khushi. He will only answer you when you will let him." Arnav said totally confused at the pleasantries being exchanged between his would be and some style freak model looking man.

"I forgot Arnav ji...This is Deepankar... Deepankar chatterjee my sweetest buddy of college." She said while gesturing to deepankar "And Deepu he is... he is...my..." Khushi felt shy introducing his would be to her friend as this was the first time they were meeting any one together in public. If it could be said like that. Arnav has already told aman to talk to the shimmer jewellery shop's owner the only shop where Raizadas came to buy jewelleries and inform him that A.S.R and his fianc would be coming to buy their engagement rings and he don't want any media or public there and as a result the shop was empty with only the owner and few trusted employs.

"Fiance... I am her fianc Arnav Singh Raizada." He said and pulled out his right hand for a handshake.

Without wasting a second Deepankar took his hand in his and started shaking it in a rhythm saying "Who doesn't know you sir. You are the inspiration of all business men."

Arnav nodded and glancing at him said "So Deepankar what are you doing here? You don't seem to be an employ here." Arnav's question was direct to make Deepankar understand that he was thinking him as a common public who were not be allowed at this time.

"Yeah you are right sir I am not an employ here. I am the owner of this shop Sir." He said politely clearing Arnav's doubt.

"Oh I see!!" said Arnav.

"Deepu you are the owner of this shop? God why didn't you tell me before? I know why! you thought that I will loot you shop right? Don't worry I will not!" she said chuckling. "And What is this Sir Sir?? You can also call him Arnav ji! Right Arnav ji?" she asked cutely.

" Yeah! Why not." Arnav in Sarcasm which didn't reached the buddies.

"No no It's fine Sir! I'll prefer that only" said Deepankar obliged and then turning to Khushi said " good one sweet heart! Getting married?" Said Deepankar and reached out to hug her only to find out Arnav furiously pulling Khushi along her waist towards him possessively. His hand holding her close to him and their bodies touching each other's.

Deepankar saw this reflex action and took it as a normal one. He failed to see the 'oh! You keep away from her' look in Arnav's eyes But Khushi was hell bent shocked to this action of Arnav. Yes they have hugged each other two three times but him curling his hand around her waist and pulling her so close to him was a first time and that to infront of deepu. She could not help but feel her cheeks getting coloured in Arnav's all time favourite colour.

"so congratulations sir and Khushi!" said Deepankar.

"Thanks deepu!" replied Khushi her mind still wandering with arnav's hand which was now caressing her waist.

"So Deepankar should we head towards the rings?" said Arnav.

"Yeah deepu! I would like to see how is your store's choice." She said challengingly.

"You know Arnav ji in college he would always bash about his right choice for jewelleries." She said "Deepu! do you remember the time when you helped me selecting Kangans for ma... you know she liked it a lot and deepu those green emerald colour earings I swear they were beautiful "

"yeah! Khushi I remember and do you remember..." excitement dripping in his voice Deepankar said.

"Khushi you can talk about it later. Can we for now select OUR enagagement rings?" cutting Deepankar in between Arnav said. Arnav was highly irritated by this Deepu / Deepankar or whatever. Here he has been hoping to spend some time with Khushi alone away from the family after convincing his Di for letting them select their engagement rings alone and there Khushi is all set to bring out the sweet memories of her college with her so called best buddy DEEPU. And not to forget the name Deepu! Can't she call him Deepankar or Mr Chatterjee? She never calls him Arnav without 'ji' and she is calling this Deepankar without that 'ji' and 'kar'. And who is this Deepankar to call her sweetheart? Highly irritated by these two buddies who seem to be lost in a fair he pulled Khushi away from that deepu and went towards the display counter but unluckily followed by Deepankar.
