I still like the original story but that's a personal preference because I enjoy reading tragedies
Also I do believe SLB will change the story but not the ending
After all he is known known for his tragic literac movies
And the fact people keep bringing up about it having a modern twist
I don't understand one thing
Cant a modern show have a tragic ending?
The show can be modern through the characters and thier belief or how they bring change
And idk this is just my opinion but saras and kumud ending together it just doesn't seem rite
The whole concept is of an incomplete story which based on that its logical that the ending will be SIMILAR to the novel.

I dont want it to follow the novel...love stories shouldnt be tragic but magical.

Realistically, it will be 90% of the novel so will be a painful journey to watch but as long as in the end they do come together.

SLB is able to show divine and infinite love...so intense...it will totally ruin it if it has a sad ending...too much bad happening in the world so you need some sort of hope when getting lost in the fictional world!

I hope this show doesnt go the novel way. I will be devastated!
