Ashley Rebello is a bollywood costume designer. He has been a costume designer for decades. Worked as costume designers for movies like Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Andaz Apna Apna, Hum Saath-Saath Hain, Josh, Fiza to more recent movies like Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na, Dabangg and Ek Tha Tiger.

Among the famous bollywood celebrities has he styled for mostly Salman Khan. He has also styled Malaikra Sherawat, Malaikra Arora Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and several others.

But this is what he had to say about bollywood's "Fasionista", Sonam Kapoor:

"Sonam Kapoor's outlandish dresses leave him bewildered. Says he, "Who wears these kinds of clothes? Where does she think she is going? Does anyone even understand that kind of fashion? Hollywood stars also don't wear such grotesque apparel! The only time she looked attractive was when she dressed up like a regular girl-next-door in I Hate Luv Storys. And that was the only movie of hers which did decently well, isn't it?"

all of Sonam's designer friends are super succesful now... Ashley Rebello is no where any more! he seems bitter to me! his designs suck... so its hard to take him seriously!

Fashion is self-expression! who cares if this guy doesnt understand!

Who is he? Someone sounds jealous.

Sonam has helped make designers like Masaba and Anamika Khanna very famous. She doesn't dress up like a sexy pin-up girl 24/7 showing her boobs and navel with every single outfit. Her clothes may be weird to some but she expresses herself that way and she looks unique.

To be fair sometimes her dresses are not up to the mark. They're very weird at times and it seems as if she's trying too hard to be unique.

He is a bollywood costume designer from the 90's when bollywood fashion was at its worst, no wonder he doesnt understand Sonam's fashion.

Sonam does over dress or bizarre dress at times but still she is one of the best dressed bollywood actor.

Never heard of this guy. He sounds pretty bitter truth be told.

Sonam does go overboard at times but then who always gets fashion right anyways? I personally think she looks pretty good most of the time. Masaba, Anamika Khanna all pretty poular...and now even Shehlaa Khan is getting more popular. Sonam's stylist Tanya now styles more celebs like Kareena too...
