Actually it is very difficult/virtually impossible to cure Schizophrenia. But what is being shown in the serial isn't the correct depiction of Schizophrenia. Shizophrenia is the worst kind of mental disorder where the patient feels that everyone is out to harm/kill them. The patient may also hear hallucinatory voices, which he/she thinks are real telling him/her to commit suicide. Most patients do end up being shut in a room because they can get violent too. And for many of them suicide is the only option.

Sudhanshu doesn't have Schizophrenia. He was given medicine to get those attackes but now since Uma changed his prescription, he will be cured with Special Therapy and medicines.

Yes,there is no cure for this mental illness.I know cos one of my cousins has it.As long as she takes her medications she is okay. But if she stops then she starts getting hallucinations. The producers of serials should take care while depicting such illnesses. It was mentioned earlier that Sudhanshu has schizophrenia. In reality the only hope the patient has of leading a normal life is if it is a mild case and can be controlled by medications.
