Ovi cared not that the other two were getting married that very day, she didn't mind switching places with the bride knowing the groom cared two hoots for her own self. And no girl can be expected to go telling someone, "Oops, I had unprotected sex so you may want to re-think."

Ovi did grow up in Canada, did not have all that of a protected, sheltered childhood, she was a model, hung out with guys, and even if she herself was a paragon obviously knew at least by heresay the ways of the world. So, if she didn't suspect that a couple engaged to be married had engaged in a physical relationship, that is her fault. She was so carried away by her love/obsession for Arjun, she paid scant attention to how he might feel towards the woman he loved.

And at that point, Purvi did not know she was pregnant.

Why didn't Ovi clarify with Arjun or Purvi and ask them, "did you guys sleep together, if so I do not want to go through with this". If she didn't care then, she shouldn't care now after the fact. My POV.

Actualyu soapwatcher, Purvi did know she was pregnant when she sent Arjun to have sex with Ovi, while she ran off to hide in Kolkata. She has said so herself.

So even if she did not tell Ovi about their sex, at least she should have told Arjun about the pregnancy.

Shebby, I remember that she knew then. I was referring to the day of the wedding, she didn't know she was pregnant and didn't have to disclose to Ovi that she had slept with Arjun. None of Ovi's business at that point.

As for sending him off to sleep with Ovi, Purvi could do nothing else at that juncture. You saw the reaction this week, post child, post her marriage to Onir, the reaction from Archana, from the family would have been worse. She did what she thought was best at that point, she took herself away and asked Arjun to be a good husband to Ovi. She had already literally handed him on a platter to Ovi anyway. She had no intention of back peddling on her gift (of Arjun to Ovi) then and neither does she now.

With all you respect @Topic Maker,
I agree the way made a clean for Archana's word in the episode.In Today's generation any mother will say to her daughter when she had done such big mistake.A Mother like Archana is every strong at her realtions,rishtas.Today when she said to Purvi that Purvi is dead for her i saw the pain the mother's eyes that she said to daughter who was with her when Manav n his family were not there for 18yrs,Archana said bcoz she can't do injustice with her another daughter.
Another hand she made Ovi understand that Marriage is build on love n trust also told that how Manav n her faced problems in their marriage but they never stopped loving eachother.
PS:Archana was Star of the Day.

How have you been? Coming to episode,Ovi asking questions to Purvi was right if anyother lady would had been in her place she had done the same.
Ovi was stubborn at her decisions bcoz Archana was not there to give her a right path.

Gaurav, how are you? Me doing good 😊 Trying to go to bed but keep coming back to the forum.

I thought Ovi had asked out of curiosity but saw her reaction to Purvi's answer and didn't like it.

Abortion is a personal decision, a mother forms a bond with her child immediately (remember Onir telling Purvi that a child knows its mother 9 months longer than its dad?) and asking any mother that question is out of bounds. Even if Arjun had an affair after marriage with a girl and that girl was pregnant, Ovi would have no right to question that girl about keeping or not keeping her baby. As a wife, she can question her husband all she wants but not the other girl. In this instance, she is even more out of line because she knows how she got married to Arjun, how Purvi and Arjun were to be married and that she, Ovi had switched places as bride at the last minute. Giving up Arjun was one thing, to expect Purvi to kill her baby for Ovi is another.

Yes, if Archana had been in Ovi's life, Ovi would have been different. I do believe Ovi is not inherently evil like Punni is, it is just that she has been spoilt by her dad and is used to getting her way, Archana's presence would have put a damper on that. Ovi did not jump out of Archana's arms in anger when her Aai pointed out that it was Ovi's mistake as well for landing in this mess. It would be nice to see Archana straightening out both girls. They are both ziddi in their own way.

I m fine Jhanvi di nowdays little bit busy with job so don't have time to visit here but whenever i come here,
I see that members fight for no reasons as they think stars would appreciate for that.
Hope that Archana makes them both understand n let them take their decisions after that,Ovi n Purvi should respect Archana bcoz they have got such a good mother who's heart is so big where she can forgive the mistakes which had earlier.
