5 Salman khan films celebrated in YPD 2

New Delhi: The Deols are back with their latest venture 'Yamla Pagla Deewana 2', but there is one Bollywood superstar who is an integral part of the film without being physically seen in it. Bobby Deol plays Gajodhar Singh in the film who adopts a new name Prem (tring!) to impress Suman (Neha Sharma). Here onwards, they keep exchanging views about Salman Khan and his films. So, we have compiled a list of those Salman Khan films which are celebrated in 'Yamla Pagla Deewana 2'.

Ek Tha Tiger: Gajodhar goes to meet Suman in Britain and uses a drainage pipe to meet her, exactly in the style Salman went to meet Katrina in 'Ek Tha Tiger'. However, the only difference was that Gajodhar fell off the pipe midway.

Maine Pyar Kiya: The heroine is called Suman, so the natural choice of the name for the hero, who is also a conman, was Prem. Well, the saga doesn't end here as there is a pigeon which brings a letter for Gajodhar before he breaks into 'Kabootar ja ja'.

Tere Naam: Whenever something sentimental happens in the film, Sangeeth Sivan uses the name 'Tere Naam' as if this is the only film to express the in-depth love. This happens for so many times that the audience automatically start to sing 'tere naam' the next time something emotional takes place on the screen.

Dabangg: Chulbul pandey, the name is enough. It's heart touching to see contemporaries giving tribute to a star of their own generation. Suman and Gajodhar fight over a cut-out of Salman Khan in Varanasi, which eventually leads to their romantic involvement.

Wanted: Among many other films of Salman Khan that are quoted in 'Yamla Pagla Deewana 2', 'Wanted' deserves a special mention as it is referred more than thrice. In any case, Dharmendra and Bobby Deol play burglars and thus they were wanted by the police, which is conspicuously absent from the whole film.

Vivek Oberoi film is given 100% release, while YPD2 was given 40-50% release scale as YJHD is booked in advance for 2 weeks forcefully by distributors.
