Not always. Many times members don't argue rationally and tend to pass off their traditional, religious, political, etc. views as fact or as an alternate for logic.

1. Are you as serious in real life as you appear on IF? I'm an introvert. I don't talk all that much. That doesn't mean I'm extremely serious, just that I'm not exactly a social butterfly.

2. Your favourite dish: I like many dishes, choosing one is difficult, most probably impossible. I love non-vegetarian dishes. But even in veg, I like many dishes. I especially like dishes prepared with light spices. Which is why I don't like North Indian or South Indian cuisines all that much, as they tend to go overboard with the masala bit and lose the natural flavours of the main ingredients.

3. Name the book you last read: I was reading Oath of the Vayuputras, got bored and left midway. Then I started reading Craig Kennedy.

4. A discussion on DM that you enjoyed: I of course enjoyed the discussion where I made my first post - Gandhiji Vs Bhagat Singh. Other than that there have been many good discussions, like discussion on Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi, Prostitution, a discussion on wages etc.

5. A discussion you wish you hadn't been a part of: Harry Potter. It's stupidity to discuss with fans.

You have been on DM a long while unlike the MOTW 1 so I am looking forward to your replying the member related questions 😆

6. Name a few members on DM whose posts you enjoy reading

I don't like every post of any single member. But there are/ were members whose posts are/ were usually good e.g. Gauri, Chatbuster (aka cuckoocutter), RTH, WA, etc.

I don't know much about the current members, so can't talk about them.

7. Which member do the following words best describe '

Since I don't know much about the current members, I'm also going to include old members who may not be active any longer

a. Friendly: Eeyoretel (Although she is from BS)

b. Crazy: I can't think of anyone as crazy. Even those who act crazy are very calculated on this forum.

c. Confusing: Believe (aka Prometeus) because of his theories on women. 😆

And Baazigar cos of his strange way of writing.

d. Aggressive: Mr. K, Gauri, Woh Ajnabee, Krystal watz

e. Lovable: Persistence

f. Enigmatic: Can't think of anyone

g. Intelligent: Many members qualify for this

h. Trolling: Polki zofi and his various avatars

i. Abusive: None so much on DM. Outside of DM, Omnipotence comes to mind. Maybe one has to encounter members like Omnipotence to know what abusive means.

j. Arrogant: Mr.K. Also WA, RTH, POH - that whole group

k. Funny: None in particular

l. Witty: Gauri

8. How was your experience as a mod on DM? Any particular incident you recall as a mod that you would like to share?

I didn't encounter much trouble on DM as a viewbie, except for one or two incidences. So nothing much interesting to share.

9. If you had the chance to meet one person on DM who would it be?

I have already met 3 members from DM. And I've talked over phone with another 4 of them. Among those with whom I've talked over phone, 2 are not in touch anymore, the other 2 I'll hopefully meet someday if I get the chance.

10. A motto you follow in life.

No special motto. Truthfulness and keeping my promise, that's the only two things I follow.

Nothing. It's not my website. I'm not an expert in debating myself. Neither am I here to teach others how to debate. If I post, it's to express my views or to counter other's views. How others debate is not my concern.

~Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing?

I didn't understand the above two questions. 😕
If you explain them in simple English, I'll try to answer.
