And the winner is...

Judges Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich and Graham Elliot were all set to make things tough for the two finalists. Christine Ha was the series' first-ever blind contestant and had managed to impress the audiences with his confident dishes. The judges did allow her to use her aide, Cindy, but she did not cut or taste Ha's food. On the other hand Josh Marks, who was eliminated earlier in the season and made an amazing comeback. So it was a great battle to watch.

The contestants were given 2 hours to create a three-course menu of their choosing; Appetizer, Entree and Dessert. It was an intense atmosphere in the kitchen with both of them giving their best to impress the judges. The other contestants who had been eliminated thought-out the journey were encouraging their favorite contestant. By the looks of the support it was a pretty even.

So, it was time for the first dish that was presented to the 3 judges. Josh had cooked Butter Poached Lobster with Grits and Sweet Potato Pure; Christine had presented Thai Papaya Salad with Crab and Mixed Vegetables. The judges loved Christine's appetizer, though felt it was a little simplistic where as Josh's appetizer lobster was undercooked and chewy, and the pure lacked flavor.

The second dish was Entree and this time Josh wanted to impress the judges with his Rack of Lamb with Green Curry Sauce, Spring Peas and Carrots. On the other hand, Christine Ha presented Braised Pork Belly with Rice, Crispy Kale and Mitake Mushrooms. But again Christine got more positive feedback from all the 3 judges. Although they thought that her dish was simple, but the flavors and execution was perfect. So it was up to the third and final dish that would decide the winner of MasterChef US season 3.

It was time for Dessert. Josh presented Bacon Crusted Pecan Pie with Vanilla Bean and Cinnamon Ice Cream and Christine is Coconut Lime Sorbet with a Ginger Tuile. the judges were totally impressed with the ice cream that Josh's pie was served with, but were not impressed with the pie. Christine once again got a positive feedback from all the 3 judges. So after the 3 dishes and the comments, it was time to crown the winner.

And finally after all the discussion about the 3 dishes, it was finally declared that the winner of MasterChef US season 3 is……. Christine Ha. It was Christine's fierce determination, and passion for food that led her to inspire millions of people.
