Aditya Roy Kapur in Excel's next ?

Aashiqui 2 fame actor Aditya Roy Kapur is currently on cloud nine, as his film has struck gold by crossing the Rs 100 crore mark. Also, he has got rave reviews from critics for playing second fiddle to Ranbir in the just released Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. And now the buzz is that the actor has been approached by Farhan Akhtar, to star in the latter's new production.

However, the actor, who has earlier played second lead in films like Action Replayy & Guzaarish and now in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, wants to keep his solo act intact and continue playing lead roles in future.

Aditya wanted Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani to release before Aashiqui 2 so he could enjoy his glory as a lead actor. A source close to the actor says, "The original idea was to release Aashiqui 2 after Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani but that didn't happen."

Kapoor says, "Ranbir is a friend and we had a great time shooting for the film. But certainly, now the idea is to be more careful about my work."

He also reveals, "I haven't signed any new film as yet." However, buzz is that Aditya has been approached by Farhan Akhtar's and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Productions for a film. But nothing is official as the meeting happened behind closed doors.
