I think we should trouble our brains a bit and try to recollect the kind of excuses we come up with for bunking work or studies from our workplace, school or college. Most of the excuses are health related that too of someone in the immediate family. Father, Mother, Brother, Sister etc. That is mainly to make an impact!
None of us really means any harm to our parents or siblings. Ragini was in a similar situation. She had to make up a lie that would justify her constant visits to the confession room. Only if someone close like mom or dad would have been ill, would BB bother to keep the inmate informed about the health progress. Why would BB bother to trouble Ragini if some chacha, mama was unwell? That sounds suspicious and ridiculous! Nobody would have believed her.

She had to convince everyone and I think she had fared very well in her task.

I agree with you... I don't think Ragini was wrong to use that excuse... afterall her task was so difficult... she was all worked up b'coz of Baba's demands and hiding it from everybody else in the house... and suddenly Carol came to ask her about the problem... Ragini did not have time to think... she thought if she said her mom is sick.. it will end there.. but then Carol and Rupali got into all the details and then she had to make it look like something serious.. or else they would not have believed her...

I feel it was not a very big thing... and it was done for the sake of task...

Wrong, she could've said her cousin was in hospital or her best friend/ her aunt or her uncle. Her mom being in hospital is a really really serious matter and seriously its not a joke!!!

However we can excuse her, cause she didn't have much time to think about it.

I think its incorrect to judge a person according to what is shown in the show...do we know what their contract says...it probably might have said.."the participant may be excused from the show only if the immediate next of kin's health condition is life threatening" ... being the smart guys the inmates are ...it would have been very easy for them to catch her lie is she had she mentioned uncle etc...big boss is playing with all of us...take for example the first confession room for Baba ...we were made to believe that he did not mention Ragini's name which resulted in a huge hue and cry in the forums...the next confession from baba was only good things about Ragini...big boss not only controls the 'inmates' as well as the members on the forum.

I think there is a BB mole in this forum too.
