What makes a family complete?

To Kokila and Hetal, now having three grandchildren, their parents and their children altogether grants them much happiness, joy and fulfilment.

What does it mean to you should you have or desire to have a complete family?

Nice topic Swasthi. In my mind the two things that make a family complete is happiness and contentment. There is no magical formula or equation for this. We can say that children/grandchildren complete a family but that is doing a disservice to those who are happy with their lot.

beautiful topic Swasthi 👏...Acc to me just having a family is not enough..it does not matter how many people are there in a family, what matters is the love, trust and respect each one has in a family...Modis are a perfect example of that. Both Rashi and Gopi live in the same family yet only one of them is content. What is the use of having a family if one does not value them...

Nice Topic. 👏
For me a complete family is being surrounded by people I love. No matter how big or small. I just expect one thing from a family. Love and Respect for each other and enjoying those special moments together and the most important thing is for us to stand by each other no matter what the situation holds.

It is interesting to read that the responses reflected on the intangible elements rather than the tangible.

Some people do measure their completeness to entail the different generations that co-exist, like in the case of Kokila and Hetal.

Others consider that completeness occurs when the family partake in family meals, outings and traditional event, be it on a regular basis or on special occasion.

There are families out there that are driven with material wants and desires and this makes them utterly complete.

Most do consider that it includes the show of affection.

There is a thinking of families that stick together through good and hard times making them robust and resilient enabling them to feel complete.

Hope this is helpful Paposhoon.
