Creatives seem to have decided that ya to confession Asad Ahmad Khan ke heavyweight naam jaisa solid ho warnaa na ho. Poor jackass Asad. Kitni koshish ki ussne to grab Zoe and tell her that he loves her - but ye kambakht technology aur fate ka sense of humour beech mein aa gayaa. Today, the forces of nature had decided that chaahe Asad try karte karte apni neck-tie ki rassi banaa de, there is no way he is gonna tell Zoe that he loves her. Aur kya kya beech mein nahiin aaya. Here's the list:
1. Zoe herself due to her lambee zubaan and her new found main-usski-saari-dhajjiyaan-udaa-doongi obsession with that Makhanwaali.
2. All cellular services.
3. Coffee.
4. AsYa's classic bickering that eats up half their time.
5. Doorbell.
6. Courier guy.
Matlab, heights hai! Today, even that slab of Anarkali Makhhan was also not between them but even then! Confession nahiin ho sakaa and Asad's attempts continue. Poor Jammy! Kitaa try kiyaa apne white bread slice pe spread honne ka, but Zoe toh bas Zoe hai aur Asad ki vocab 'wo actually' ke aage jaati hi nahiin. Infact, Asad's attempts to confess his love to Zoe have become a personal joke for Dilshoo and Najma. Aaj to halwaai bhi Asad ke mazze le rahaa tha. Imagine! Naam se ye Lion kehlaate hain, lekin ek confession mein ye saare exams fail kar jaate hain. 😆
And Zoe? Yaaar! Kissi ne kya khoob kahaa hai:
" Aurat ki mitti mein paani kum hotaa hai aur aag zyaada."😉😆
Matlab, ittne passion se toh Zoe ne Asad ko bhi stalk nahiin kiyaa jittni mehnat ye NYHT uss makkhan ki dukaan ka Amul Ghee banaane mein lagaa rahee hai. Triggered with jealousy and suspicion, Zoe is like totally in CID/FBI/Scotland Yard mode and she is not gonna rest until she unmasks Tanveer. The bank statements are just a flicker of the dhamaaka that Zoe wants to do with Tanveer. And you have to hand it to the girl - she is a quick thinker and even though i feel that ordering a dress from Tannu''s factory was not a very good idea , both in hindsight and foresight - Zoe is almost near Tannu's truth. So, its proved that the only spot where Zoe's brains fuse is Asad. Otherwise, she knows what to do with her brains. I agree with that BCA on one thing, though. Zoe's brain is working fine but the technique is a little amateurish - but its ok. Zoe is yet to know what a reptile daayan is and how her brain can twist and turn.
Zoe has concluded that Tannu is upto no good - but she is yet to figure out the 'whys' of Tannu's plan. But babe, its not rocket science at all. Go in flashback mode right now and you can see that BCA is aiming at your man. That is her plan and you gotta stop it.
AsYa scenes were lovely as usual. The writers have never lost the balance of rom-com and intensity in this couple and that continues. Zoe was so cutely desperate to know what Asad wanted to tell her last night and she keeps asking , even though in a make-believe attitude. Asad made his disappointment evident too that she tried to run away from him last night. But like we have often said, Zoe didn't tell Asad her 'puppy-in-the-rain-syndrome' who was scared of being rejected, She made an excuse and i don't think Asad bought it. He even holds her arms and tried to tell her what he was going to say but Gullu laughed in your face - " Arre, aise kaise karwaa doon confession? Abhi toh maine carrots ka truck order kiyaa hai tumhaare aage latkaane ke liyye."...
Same goes for the doorbell scene. Zoe momentarily forgot that her gift from her beloved Tannu was waiting at the door - and she just jhoola-jhooloed in Asad's arms while he tried to tell her how he feels. But Asad ki vocabulary is as good as the rate of rains in Mumbai for the past three years - Zilch. So, udd gayee Zoe ghantee ki taraf, leaving a shattered Asad behind who couldn't believe that Zoe chose a doorbell over him. Its okay, Asad. Such is life. Abb tumhe kya pataa ki Zoe ko bhi tumhaari tarah BCA se obsession ho gayaa hai. Have to admit, kucch toh baat hai uss Billo Ghaatan mein.
For the rest, i loved Humzie today for standing up for Nikhat within the limits of tameez and tehzeeb. Binaa zyada bole, Haseena ki lagaa di aaj Humzie ne. Ayaan confuses me, When you had taken that money from Razia and promised to marry Humzie , you had given your word and commitment , Ayaan. You may not love her , its ok. But i didn't like the way you verbally and physically pushed away Humzie today as though she was a plague.Even if that back hug took him by surprise, i think he was way too rude with Humzie - almost behaving as though Humzie was going to molest him or something? Ayaan, if you don't want to marry her , say no and say it NOW! Don't ruin her life like this. Unless you , like law of Karma believe that the best way to punish Razia is to destroy her daughter.
Someday, i hope Humzie dumps both Razia and Ayaan for destroying her life. They should earn her love and respect back. They are doing everything consciously and knowingly. Its not done!
Dilshoo making fun of Asad and his 'Wo actually' to Zoe was adorable.
I don't think Zoe is going to stop at anything now to get to bottom of BCA's truth. Asad maane ya na maane, cheekhe chillaaye, kucch bhi karre , Zoe will finish Tannu in the long run. Waise bhi aaj tak Zoe ne Asad ki kaun si baat maani hai. Go darling!
