Forum 32 Article :Siddharth Sen Birthday

Shree aka Shreekant Sen of Arjun ' Har Yug Mein Aayega Ek, played by Siddharth Sen, is a character who is a techie. We have mentioned earlier about how Siddharth, Siddy as called by his friends, is not really techie in real life. When Gorky had conceived the character, the surname was not Sen, but the way Siddharth speaks with the Bengali touch of mixing genders, the character got the name. Interesting how things change with the person who plays the character comes on board.

Siddharth Sen to us is perhaps the sweetest thing after sugarcane, with a smile that brings a twinkle to his eyes, he speaks ever so softly. Even the lilt in his voice is very child-like. The way he gets teased on the set by other artists, be it Shaleen Malhotra or Behzaad Khan or the newest entrant Mrunal Thakur. We have seen him plead to them, "Stop it guys!" and that makes him look so innocent that one would just want to tease him a little more. Do we see Shaleen and Behzaad nod in agreement, as they read this? We are sure.

Siddharth has of course grown a year older. He is a little away from the young boy who had first come to Mumbai and struggled his way to getting perhaps his best role as Shree in Arjun ' Har Yug Mein Aayega Ek. We at Forum 32 wish him a very happy birthday.

We had asked him what had he planned his birthday and he had said that if he gets a leave, he would like to go to a hill station nearby and spend it with his closest friend from a long time. Did he get the leave? We don't know. But when we visit the set today, if he is there, we plan on giving him some birthday bumps and smear him with a cake just the way he had done with Shaleen.
