Every Milestone is an Achievement.
And Hitler Didi had just achieved another height by completing 400th Episodes.
Hitler Didi completes 400 episodes today, 400 episodes that were filled with laughter, tears, admiration, love, and MANY question marks.
Hitler Didi ' A journey that started on 7th November 2011. Hitler Didi is all about the strict, tough and strong minded Indira Sharma (Rati Pandey)who is the "Hitler Did" of Chandni chowk . She has the responsibility of her whole family, as she is the sole earner. Her life revolves around bills and the financial situation of their family. And due to the heavy burden of her family, her life has become dull and colorless and she has become a mere working machine without any emotions in her. Until one day when her new tenant Rishi Kumar (Sumit Vats) arrives, who lights up her life. He brings joy in her life, helps her at every step of life. He becomes the shoulder she can cry on, that one person she can trust the most and that person she give her everything to.
Going Down The Memory Lane
Out of many tracks Indira-Rishi's loves tory was undoubtedly the best. Starting from their first encounter and after which a trail of nok-jhok started between the two. A bond that started on a bitter sweet way, with Indira's lectures and Rishi's cute pranks. And their story continued with Indira being in denial, and Rishi trying over and over again to prove his love for her. And in the end love itself melted Indira's heart and she confessed her love.
Another track that had its impact was the rape track. Indira's life was never a dance on roses. In this track Sameer Diwan, Rishi's brother who's obsessed with Indira rapes her sister Mandira and the track focuses on Indira's battle to get justice for her sister. Going against her own family and the norms of the society just to get Sameer behind bars.
One track that left everyone with tears was the brain tumor track. Where Indira is diagnosed with brain tumor, but everyone else believes she's pregnant. A heartbreaking track where we see the strong and independent "Hitler Didi" die a little every day. But nevertheless everyday she does something for her family and husband so that they can move on after she dies. A tearful track that left everyone in tears, seeing Hitler Didi's last days.
The show took an 8 years leap recently. With a new flavor, some new characters like Indira and Rishi's 8 year old daughter Indu, who's a complete copy of her mother. Other character like the rough and tough cop Zara Malik Khan, the soft spoken Husna who both were Indira's look alike were also introduced. Zara turned out to have a grey shade, and Husna turned out to be the real Indira. And their family was complete. Rishi and Indira reunited with their child Indu. And Hitler Didi is back in Chandni chowk.
Hitler Did a long journey that has completes 400 episodes today, and is still going on. With ups and downs a journey that is special to all of us, in complete different ways.

Indira sharma, is not your typical female character. She's a firebrand, an enigma of her own. She is a woman with a no nonsense attitude, sheer will power and strength. She believes that this world and her luck has been cruel but she's not someone who would cry over it but would rather fight it out. Her authoritarian nature makes the world call her "hitler didi". But deep within, resides a girl with a sensitive and loving nature who would go to any extent for the welfare of her family.

He came into our world as a charmer and mesmerized us with his tunes. This character brought smile not only on the face of Hitler Didi but even turned all gloomy faces of ours into smiling ones.. He taught us new lessons of life that inspite of all the hardships, how we can cross every hurdle with livliness and vitality, when all the doors of happiness are closed then inspite of crying for missing keys, we must look for a window and lots of endless solutions to every problems, Mr. Jugadu Kumar thats what he is called. This character is full of different shades.

On the other hand, Encounter Specialist Zara Malik Khan seems to be the other side of the very same coin. Talented, disciplined, principled and in possession of a very sharp mind, Zara is a firebrand in her own right. A respected police officer set in Mumbai, Zara is the spitting image of Indira.hings go awry when Zara falls in love with Rishi and gets married to him. In an attempt of saving her married life, she forgets her morality and ends up as a murderer because of her obsession for Rishi

Popularly known as "choti hitler", she's the only daughter of Indira and Rishi. She's shown to have inherited her mother's looks and some of her qualities. She's too smart a kid for her age and is at times shown to be rude towards her elders. She is a difficult kid to handle.

She's the legal wife of Inder Sharma. She cannot stop pining for her husband even if he ditches her again and again. She doesn't care much about her children and her only dream is to live a luxurious, comfortable life.

He's the eldest son of the sharma family. Known for his funny dialogues and his trademark "shit yaar", he's completely lazy and jobless and doesn't aspire to take up any job either.

Indira's sister-in-law, Sunaina supports her husband Munna inspite of him being irresponsible and arrogant. She fears Indira's ire and often faces most situations with a smile.

He's Indira's father and the main reason why she became 'hitler'. He abandoned his family for another woman and is shown to be a heartless, evil father who is money minded and doesn't care a bit about the welfare of his own family. Basically he's shown to be playing around with other women while his first wife pines for him.

Son of munna and sunaina, ishaan is shown to be a sensitive and caring guy who loves his bua Indira the most. He's one of the very few sensible members of the family and knows the difference between right and wrong. His bond with indira is among the purest ones in the show.

He's Rishi's elder brother was the main antagonist of the show in the initial days. He loved Indira obsessively and wanted to marry her at any cost. This obsession made him lose his sanity and he ended up raping Indira's sister, Mandira. Before he became a criminal, he was shown to be an arrogant and rich builder whose only aim was to snatch away everything that came his brother's way.

She was Rishi's childhood friend who comes back in his life and finds out that he's already married to his love Indira. She always had feelings for him so when Indira asks Shweta to get married to Rishi, she immediately agrees and even becomes the surrogate mother of Indu. She was shown to be a dutiful wife and a doting mother but selfish in love initially. However later she realizes that she did not belong to this family and leaves them for good.
