Madhu : kyaa ab bhi bharosa nahi kar sakte?

Madhu : tum kyu chahte ho ki main chali jaaoon?

Rk : sab kuch chodkar jaana chahti ho yeh jooth tha naa...?

Madhu left from there in disgust...

Rk goes in his vanity van that is present at the marriage venue and picks up a bottle of whisky n starts drinking...

Meanwhile sultan enters the wedding venue...

Chapter 10 - RK GOES MISSING

AT Wedding Venue

Rk goes in his vanity van that is present at the marriage venue and picks up a bottle of whisky n starts drinking...

Meanwhile sultan enters the wedding venue...he sees the holy fire place empty...he looks around and notices the vanity van...he knocks but, there is no response...he fires a bullet through the glass nearest to the door and put his hand in to open the lock...enetering the vanity van he sees RK's shoulder bleeding because the bullet brushed off him maybe...Rk gets up and holds sultan by his neck...sultan grabs rk's hand in order to stop rk's hand from pressing on to his own neck...

(note rk is drunk)

Rk : toh tum yahaan bhi aa gaye? Jaanta tha main ki tum madhu ko milne zaroor aaoge..

Sultan : RK! Madhu kahaan hai? Kya kiya tumne uske saath?

Rk : itni fikar! Kis haq se?

Sultan : MADHU KAHAAN HAI?

Rk : chali gayi...wahi jahaan wo jaana chahti thi..

Sultan : shaayad thik kiya usne...tum isi layak ho...

At the chawl

Madhu reaches chawl...Padmini opens the door and immediately hugs madhu...trishna is just silent..

Padmini : tu thik hai naa madhu? kya hua kal?

Madhu just walks in towards the kitchen

Padmini : MADHU! yeh sindoor, mangalsutra...madhu sach bata kya ho raha hai?

Madhu : maa, maine shaadi kar li...

Padmini slaps madhu! "kya dimaag kharaab ho gaya hai tera? Kya tu jaanti nahi usse...jaanwaron sa sulook kiya usne tere saath aur tuune shaadi kar li?"

Madhu : kya karti main maa? Nahi le payi main badla...(in tears)...nahi tod sakti main usse...kaise usse wohi dard de aati jo usne mujhe diya?

Padmini : phir tu yahaan kya kar rahi hai madhu?

Trishna interrupts : madhu rk ne waadaa kiya tha ki shaadi ke baad tujhe yahaan lekar aayega...

Madhu : didu usne... (before madhu could complete there is a knock at the door)

Trishna : sultan!! Tum yahaa?

Sultan : madhu tum thik ho naa?

Madhu : haan sultan...tumhe kaise...? (sultan cuts her midway)

Sultan : woh main kal raat aaya tha yahaan...tumhe yeh lautaane (he gives the dupatta)...tab maine padminiji aur trishna ki baatein suni...isiliye chala aaya dekhne ki tum thik ho ya nahi...chalta hoon...

Madhu goes in the room...she sits on the bed thinking about the marriage and rk's words came back to her "sab kuch chodkar jaana chahti ho yeh jooth tha naa...?"

She felt guilty at these words now...she thought to herself wasn't it really fake...afterall she had asked only to see if Rk would agree...she realised how guilty Rk must have felt after the wedding...(she's changing her clothes) she quickly runs out of the room...

(its evening by now)

She runs towards the door when padmini yells back..

Padmini: madhu kahaan jaa rahi hai

Madhu doesn't answer..

Padmini : madhu tu ab wahaan nahi jaayegi...

When there is a knock at the door...madhu opens the door...bittuji is standing there..

Bittuji : bhabhiji kya chief ne aapko kuch bataaya hai kahaan jaa rahe hai? Aapka phone nahi lag raha aur unka bhi kal shaam se bandd hai...isiliye main yahaan aa gayaa..

Madhu : kya? Lekin subah toh...bittuji Rk ab tak ghar nahi aaya?

Bittuji : nahi bhabhiji...kya aapko bhi unhone kuch nahi bataaya?

Madhu : bittuji aap chaliye mere saath...

Both madhu n bittuji leave...

AT Wedding Venue

Madhu tells bittuji to take the car at the wedding venue...in a couple of hours they reach there...Bittuji is shocked to see all the wedding decorations...

bittuji : bhabhiji yeh sab?

madhu : vo...(she's about to speak but...) vanity van kahaan gayi?

bittuji : kya bhabhiji?

madhu : bittuji kya aapko pata hai ki rk ne koi nayi vanitu van kharidi thi? uska license number bittuji?

bittuji : bhabhiji mujhe nahi pata hai...lekin hua kya hai?

madhu : bittuji..kal yahaan main aur rk ne shaadi ki...saarri rasmo ke saath aur phir...(in tears) ...phir...bittuji mujhse bohot badi galti ho gayi...mujhe aise jaanaa nahi chahiye thha...

bittuji is staring at madhu in shock and confusion..

madhu : bittuji kya aapne director aur producers ke number try kiye?

bittuji: haan bhabhiji...subah se sab try kar chuka hoon...waise chief ki koi film ka kaam pending nahi hai...aur kuch naya sign bhi nahi kiya hai ab tak...

madhu : (crying) chaliye bittuji...kya aur koi jagah hai..? bittuji karjat farmhouse?

bittuji : phone kiya tha maine wahaan...caretaker ne kaha ki chief wahaan nahi aaye hain...

madhu : bittuji ab hum kyaa karenge...kya police complaint kardein?

bittuji : kar toh sakte hain lekin...lekin agar media ko khabar lag gayi phir chief ki jaan ko koi aur tarah ka khatra bhi ho sakta hai...

madhu is just crying...

bittuji : bhabhiji sambhaaliye apne aap ko...chief mil jaayenge...hum dhoondh lenge...

madhu : chaliye bittuji...

bittuji : jana kahaan hai?

madhu : shaayad vo versova waale flat pe ho...driver jaldi chalao...

madhu's phone rings..."sultan calling"

sultan : madhu tum gharpe nahi ho? kya tum ro rahi ho?

madhu : vo rk...rk

sultan : kya kiya usne?

madhu : rk lapataa hai...sab meri galti hai...(sultan cuts the phone)

Trishna interrupts : madhu, rk had promised he would get u here after the marriage...

Madhu : didu he... (before madhu could complete there is a knock at the door)

Trishna : sultan!! u? here?

Sultan : madhu r u fine?

Madhu : yes sultan...how do u...? (sultan cuts her midway)

Sultan : umm..i came here yesterday night ...to give u this (he gives the dupatta)...that time i overheard padminiji and trishna...so i came to check if u r fine...i'll leave now...

Madhu : what? but, morning itself...bittuji Rk ab didn't return home yet?

Bittuji : no bhabhiji...he didn't tell you as well?

Madhu : bittuji come with me...

Both madhu n bittuji leave...

AT Wedding Venue

bittuji is staring at madhu in shock and confusion..

madhu : bittuji did you call director and producers?

bittuji: yes bhabhiji...since morning i have tried all...btw there is no film pending for chief anymore...and he hasnt signed anything new as well...

madhu : (crying) lets go bittuji...is there any other place..? bittuji karjat farmhouse?

bittuji : i had called there...caretaker said that chief has not been there...

madhu : bittuji now what will he do...should we lodge a police complaint ?

bittuji : we can but,...but, if the media comes to know there can be other kind of danger to chief's life then...

madhu is just crying...

bittuji : bhabhiji control yourself...chief will be found...we'll find him...

madhu : come bittuji...

bittuji : where do we have to go?

madhu : maybe he is at the versova flat...driver drive faster...
