I always felt Saroj Khan was full of herself. Yes, she is a good choreographer but she lacks humility. She's always dissing some actor or actress. According to her, sun shines outta Madhuri's behind. 😡 On her dance show, she dissed Sridevi and talked about how Sridevi got insecure when Madhuri's songs became huge hits. There was no need to do that. But that's how this woman is. She has always acted like she made Sridevi and Madhuri. She's always acted like she's the best choreographer in Bollywood and others know nothing. And yet, she copied Janet Jackson's moves from "Miss you much" step for step in Tamma Tamma back then. She also had the nerve to accept an award for choreographing (read copying) that song. Doesn't she claim to be some brilliant choreographer? Why did she copy Jane's moves for her precious Madhuri? The woman annoys me to no end.

Music these days is a lot different. Western dance styles and music are more popular. There is nothing wrong with what Remo did. But that's what she does. She disses those who do better than her. And she thinks Ranbir is the best dancer? 🤣

Nice interview..her answers seemed quite honest especially the Sanjay Dutt bit. I've always heard her praise Madhuri, so that part comes as no surprise. Nice to see her mentioning Ranbir's dancing..honestly think Ranbir's awesome when it comes to dancing..and I agree with and completely understand her when she says he dances to the lyrics..I feel the same.

She is a great choreographer & her answers are honest .. - like it .

Nice and straight forward interview. as a person I many not like her but as a choreographer she is the best.

'Tamma tamma loge' got okayed in the 48th take: Saroj Khan

At this juncture, Madhuri's favourite choreographer Saroj Khan, who gave steps for 'Tamma tamma loge' from the 1990 action film Thanedar, starring both Madhuri and Sanjay, recalls the making of the famous song.

"We started shooting at 10 am for the song and the shot got ready at 10 pm The song had a piece with chair as a prop, where Madhuri encouraged Sanjay Dutt dance to his capacity because the piece wouldn't have been fun had they not danced together. The first shot got okayed in the 28th take, but the cap rolled down from her foot, where it was supposed to stay. By then, both Madhuri and Sanjay's knees were bruised and bleeding. But they weren't ready to listen. They said, 'no masterji we will do it.' We decided to give it another shot, which finally got okayed in the 48th take, after the cap decided to stick in its desired place."

She added that this perseverance was lacking in the present crop of actors.
