Preity Zinta used to be considered one of the top actresses in Bollywood at one point. Films like DIL CHAHTA HAI, KAL HO NA HO, KOI MIL GAYA, VEER ZAARA, SALAAM NAMASTE, and KABHI ALVIDA NA KEHNA, are some of the successful films that put Preity Zinta in running for being one of the top actresses in Bollywood. How, she suddenly dissappeared for a number of years!
Now comes her comeback film, ISHKQ IN PARIS. This film was slated for release last Fall, but due to unfortunate circumstances (the director had health issues), the film got delayed.
The promos of the film started airing on tv last year. The problem though is that barring the Salman song (to some extent), every other promo of the film has been thanda! Also, any bit of momentum that the film had got washed away due to the delay in the release of the film.
Opening of the will be very weak. As for the opening at single screens, let's not even talk about it! It will open slightly better at multiplexes.
The only silver lining is that the director is sure that the film will recover it's money, although there is no confirmation about how much the budget is.

Opening Day: 1 crore net
Opening Weekend: 3 crores net
Lifetime Collections: 6 crores net
Overall Box Office Verdict: Flop
