remember our aarya's wedding night ? yash carrying aarti to the room, yash closing the door, both of them apprehensive bout each other's intention, aarti tripping and falling on yash, the wedding chain getting stuck and the songs played?😳

well most may not be aware that punar vivah has been remade not dubbed but remade and is being shown on zee kannada. anyways today's episode was the wedding night. you may not understand the language but you get the idea by watching it. i have posted the link below.
p.s. please be advised that the following will evoke wonderful memories of our show. 😭enjoy and state you views. aarti's name remains the same, yash has become surya

tfs...every language has their flavour...though language is not known to many including me...am sure...the concept will be new to the state...and people will like it...wish it was our ARYA...but then I respect their State POV...to that 👏

The show started on April 8th and it has been adapted beautifully to the regional milieu. They have done a good job by keeping the essentials intact, yet giving it the local flavor...I have been watching regularly since it started and I am enjoying it very much. There are subtle differences too...in characterization as well as some of the scenes...which make it very interesting and appealing.

Thanks for the link. I watched it as I very well understand Kannada. My mom and myself both were watching Punar Vivaah in Hindi and though my mom does not understand Hindi much she loved Gurmeet-Kratika and I had to translate most of the dialogues to her. When I told her that Punar Vivaah started in Kannada so you can watch now from the beginning, she started watching few episodes and told me that none can beat Gurmeet-Kratika's acting and both look very very beautiful together and she stopped watching. Hindi Punar vivaah looks very real and gives a feeling that Yash-Aarti are existing in real somewhere and it is not just a TV serial. Gurmeet-Kratika look made for each other and though all Kannada actors are good and story is the same I prefer watching in HIndi coz of Gurmeet-Kratika and all three kids are so cute. She is very fond of Ansh too.

While watching Kannada Punar vivaah, I wished they were Gurmeet-Kratika(though Kannada actors are good) and hope this was dubbed so I could see our AARYA again. Anyhow I will start watching this now every day so as to refresh AARYA memories. Love Gurmeet-Kratika from the bottom of my heart and I cannot forget them ever in my life. This is the only serial I watched without leaving single episode and watching repeat telecast many times.

Well, I am liking it more because it is not dubbed. Some of the things shown in the Hindi serial would not make any sense for the local people even though they may be aware because they watch Hindi serials...like Sangeeth ceremony, visiting dargahs (not common here) and some of the religious functions like Karwa Chauth. I am glad that it is not a dubbed version but a remake...the wedding ceremony made complete sense this way and it will help in future episodes too. I very much liked it that Aarti actually came to know about the widow-divorcee lie in the mandap and that she was upset but went thru the ceremony as there was no option left!! 😊

Having said that, I also hope to see some tracks being handled a bit differently from the original...to make it more logical, if nothing else.
