Episode 277 Discussion: 21st May 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Note for Newcomers to this thread.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum.
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

Episode 277 Discussion - EOD Summary

Padmini demands Sultan's help to free Madhu from RK's cluches; RK takes Madhu to Sitara Studio to prove his love for her.

Events Of The Episode

1. Padmini reaches Sultan's house. She informs Sultan about RK's public proposal to Madhu, him apologizing to Padmini, begging her for Madhu. She tells Sultan she had a glimpse of old RK when Padmini refused to agree to RK and that she is afraid for Madhu. She expresses her frustrations regarding Madhu not understanding her fears. Padmini conveys to Sultan that RK has acknowledged in front of the whole world that he loves Madhu but she does not really believe it. She conveys to Sultan that she is afraid RK will go to any lengths this time which will shatter Madhu irrevocably. Padmini pleads with Sultan that he alone can save Madhu from RK, only he can protect Madhu.

2. Meanwhile RK brings Madhu to the gates of Sitara studio. He explains to Madhu why he brought her to the place where in the last 15 years he has not dared to go inside. He assures her that he is with her forever and ever. He laments that Padmini misunderstood him, he couln't control his anger and she left. He asks her if she will come with him inside those gates as he cannot face going there alone. Madhu confidently takes his hand and they both walk inside the studio. Here at a Sultan's house, Sultan is wondering how he can do this what Padmini is asking him (i.e. help Madhu). Padmini refuses to listen to anything, reminds him of Madhu's favors to him and Aryan and practically demands that he forcibly by any means necessary remove Madhu from RK's vicinity and take her far away where RK cannot reach to hurt Madhu.

3. RK and Madhu enter into studio which is dark, unused. RK opens the windows and removes the covers from a rocking chair, shows Madhu his father's photo, gramophone. He is searching for something particular to show to Madhu which Madhu finds. It is a birthday card for a young Rishu with note written about magic is not in just movies but one can find it in life's little moments. It is a Mr. India record. RK tells her about how he would come to the studio in his childhood to listen to his father's gramophone. He becomes emotional in his father's memories. He plays the record in the gramophone and it works fine. RK gets into some dance sequence, does some antics to make Madhu smile as the gramophone plays the Mr. India record songs. Finally they both end up smiling.

4. Suddenly RK gets very emotional and hugs Madhu saying that he loves her. He tells Madhu that he never thought he will come back to this studio let alone share this experience with anyone else. He says answer to your question of why he loves her is that, she is the only one in this whole world with whom he can be as himself, without any pretense, mask, ego or lies. He says he has always loved her truly when he was hating her, when he betrayed her, when he was hurting her, when he brought her home forcibly.

5. madhu questions him if it was easy for him to tell her that he loves her. RK becomes emotional and he says that his father's memory is witness to the fact that he has never lied to her that he loves her. He says he was lying to himself that he hates her, he is taking revenge from her but all that time he loved her and still does love her.

First - Did I understand Padmini right? Did she really beg (order) Sultan to take Madhu far away from even herself & Trishna using force if necessary?

Second - When did Padmini starting considering him close enough to her family, Sultan gaining her trust to such a extent, to be involved in something as private as this?

Third - How did Padmini know where Sultan lives?

And I thought Padmini could not get stupider. I don't know what to think about Padmini entrusting her daughter to Sultan, a gangster who she knows for all of, what, a week?

Honestly, Padmini made the rest of the episode almost unpalatable.

Where are Shamsher and Roma? Trishna, didn't you even try to talk some, even a little will do, sense into your mother?

I suppose this is RK's dream playing out, clairvoyant that he is. Both the dreams, one involving Sultan and one involving Padmini, are set to come into fruition.

But in the second dream, Radhaji was agreeing with Padmini and stopped RK from stopping Padmini dragging away Madhu. I still don't understand that part.

Other than that, I really don't find much to cheer about in MEIEJ nowadays...

Didn't like RK's goofy act today. Where is the dignity? Didn't like his "me, me, me" bleat. And when RK's characterization is going awry, there's really nothing much else attractive for me.

Conversation he REALLY needs to have with Madhu if he loves her-

Madhu, how did you feel when I dumped you in the chawl? Did you sleep that night? Have you been sleeping well since?

You know the item dance with Deepali was all to rile you right? I hate that female...

I cringe in shame when I recall how I unwed you Madhu...how I humiliated you in front of your neighbors and family.

Should we both have a few sessions with my shrink to clear our heads?

Have you really forgiven me?

It's not, like, revenge, right?

Part 1

"It's ALL in the genes" 🤣 Padmini has proved that Madhu usko kumbh ke mele se nahi laayi..what a mad hatter of a woman ! "I don't you how you do it but you have to do it, protect my daughter from the rakshas!" ..does she know what she's saying? when she cannot convince her daughter, she's asking a gangster to kidnap her and take her away to a safe place? she didn't gave them a permission to settle down?? bec. after a week or so when Madhu will be back, RK will again be behind her right?? whatever ! i was laughing for good 10 mins. before part 2 came..

Part 2

"Padmini ka curse in effect"...my poor poor RK...lagta hai aaj shrap lag hi gaya...even his enemies will pity him ! 🤣 i couldn't stop laughing for the next 10 mins..but it was cute..he was being himself..the cartoon RK, the child RK...

Part 3

Well, RK took her to Sitara Studios and the scene is still not over, i guess as per the articles, he reveals the cause of his father's suicide too 😕 but today, the 4 month long track came to it's logical end ,..Bravo CV's...4 month and various analysis didn't go waste and again, they almost copied all our views & opinions from the EDT ! 👏Cardio, you were right, we were right nothing was a lie and he admitted it..

Today, he gave all the answers to US the viewers and Madhu about what all was revenge and where was the love? he never lied to Madhu that he loved her, he lied to himself ! He loves her bec. he's himself with her and only she has the key to his heart...RK never came across this genuine before and today i can say it with confidence that I trust him and their marriage WILL happen...koi kuch kar le...other than that, he won't transform into Ramchandraji for Madhu..he will remain RK only and it's better that way..

Precap is the same as yest...He did realize it that Madhu was not sure uptil now and he made all the efforts to convince her and today, their love is victorious, not RK or Madhu ! I'm a proud Rishbala fan today !😎

Pnars, the conversation that you wrote above that he really needs to be having with madhu.. You know I have tried to imagine such a scene in my mind and I just can't visualize them to be having such a talk right now..
If he asks those questions why will madhu want to answer them and make herself vulnerable when she doesn't trust him at all? Why can't age think does he want to gloat over her state when he unwed her?

see her closing u if he even raises those questions. She did say before she is not in a state to love
anyone but how much persuasion it took and she wasn't happy to share it with him..

I just
don't feel its the right time.. Shouldn't she first be sure that from RK it's real this time?

once she is sure he loves her and trusts him she will be comfortable talking about those unwed days..

Hasn't RK admitted he broke her heart, betrayed her? I feel that is lot of progress from earlier
days.. I guess he always knew what he said today subconsciously but now he is admitting the wrongs
he did to her..
What is more important? Him admitting he was wrong or asking her how she felt?

Maybe it's just me.. Buti don't feel he said wrong things..
Whenever RK asks her about
herself I feel it will be right time..

Auntyjee contradicts herself once again. Wasn't she angry with Mallick last time when he tried to kill RK and now this time she is asking help from a gangster. So, what does she expect the gangster to do? Beg RK for Madhu and get her back?😕 But then the Paltan chemistry was amazing. Just that now Sultan needs to clear one test to try and kill RK and then he can successfully take Mallick's place

I cannot understand what this lady expects. Kidnap Madhu and elope to a far-far away land. Save Madhu from Rakshas RK and then Madhu can save goldie from Bhujang. So, what if she gets killed while saving goldie. He has a kid and deserves to live forever irrespective of what he does for living🤢

Anyway, loved RK-Madhu scene. It was cute and nice. There is no way Madhu can doubt RK now. He has opened his heart in front of Madhu. And guess gave the necessary closure that Madhu wanted after the unwed drama😃

Precap: It's the same carrot hanging today. Most of us spent a day waiting for that hug. So, guess one more day minimum to go now😆

Somebody please help me find Bhujang, so that I can beg him to kidnap Padmini and spare us the horror. RK or no RK, I never can fathom a woman so delusional who thinks her daughter will be safest with a gangster, and in turn orders him to kidnap her daughter and take her far away from the city. I am confused if I should laugh at her or be angry at her.

Yippee!😃 Switched on in the middle of the Sitara Studio scene, thus missing the entirety of the other two characters scene🤢, and just got to watch Rishbala from there onward for the rest of the ep and precap.
So I missed some of the earlier Rishbala parts as well , but also missed the other scene🤢, so totally worth it.😳
