Episode 276 Discussion: 20th May 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Note for Newcomers to this thread.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum.
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

Episode 276 Discussion - EOD Summary

Padmini's visit to RK mansion to talk Madhu out of revenge plan, RK's veiled threat to Padmini that he will do anything to marry Madhu this time.

Events Of The Episode

1. Madhu tells RK not to shower so much love on her. RK counters her asking she must be wondering how come RK is behaving nicely with her, what's the trap here. Madhu asks why does it matter so much to RK whether Madhu trusts him or not. He says it is because he loves her. In return Madhu asks why does he love her. They are both lost in each other when Bittuji interrupts this tender emotional moment announcing Padmini's arrival. All go downstairs where Radhaji is greeting Padmini. Padmini asks to speak with Madhu privately. Meanwhile Dipali informs Sikki about her visit to chawl. She is confident that Padmini will come here and when she confronts Madhu about her revenge plan, RK will hear about it and Madhu will be out and they both will be in RK mansion permenantly.

2. Padmini and Madhu are in RK's room where Padmini enquires about the wedding date. She further tells Madhu that she is afraid for Madhu. She reminds Madhu that she does not support Madhu in her revenge plan. She further reminds that Madhu is not like RK who is happy when he hurts someone. She asks Madhu if she has thought about the consequences after she executes her revenge plan. She warns Madhu that RK will not take this revenge quietly, Madhu will be shattered permanently beyond repair and this vicious circle of revenge will never end. She further tells Madhu that RK's love is nothing but his zid and tells her to forget everything that has happened so far and return home with her. She cautions Madhu that RK will go to any length if Madhu breaks his heart. She laments that Madhu has taken things a lot further and says that for RK his ego is everything in his life.

3. RK interrupts this convo asking Madhu to listen to her mother. He tells Madhu that Padmini has right to be afraid. His behavior so far in hurting Madhu is inexcusable and Padmini will never agree to their marriage. He says he would like to apologize to the entire Malik family for his crimes. He says that the bigger truth here is he loves Madhu and inspite of everything that happened, Madhu too loves him. He tells Padmini that he cannot live without Madhu as she is his oxygen, life saving drug now. He says he is begging Padmini for Madhu and not to tell Madhu not to marry him.

4. Padmini tells Madhu she has said her piece and now the final decision is hers. RK's tone and demeanor changes then and says this decision is RK and Madhu's joint and he will not let anyone come between to change that decision. For that he is willing to do absolutely anything. Padmini is scared to hear this and leaves. Madhu makes half hearted unsuccessful attempts to go after her. Radhaji informs Padmini of various shadi ki rasme to which Padmini with folded hands begs to be excused off and leaves from there with Trishna. Madhu is in tears by this time.

5. RK consoles her saying he is there for her and not to worry. He insists that he wants to show her something. She protests against it but he cajoles her and is successful to take her away. Dipali is disappointed at this turn of the events.

Bittooji is back in the episodes .. because he got his job back. He is the official genial kabab mein haddi. A good moment, Madhu melting 👍🏼 eye gazing and he had to break it. 😡

Pathetic. I expected a better plan from Dipali. But Sikky-Dipali conversation was brilliant.

Padmini tires to stop Madhu but how? If she backs away then problems .. if she doesn't back away then also problems (in Padmini's POV as she believes Madhu does not love RK.)

RK interrupts Padmini and Madhu again. The evidence is piling up that supports RK knowing Madhu's revenge. RK's speech moved Madhu but not Padmini .. but then what Madhu believes is what matters. As Leela keeps telling us .. Madhu will only take those words from Padmini which will help her or agrees with her stand point.

Was "This (wedding) is not Madhu's decision .. it us our decision (RishBala) .. and we are getting married and will stay together forever. I won't let anyone come in between .. no matter what I have to do." dialogue just to increase Padmini's fear? I don't think so. He meant it totally. RK will steamroller anyone who tries to stop him.

I hope Sultan tries. I can't wait for punch no. 2. 😳

RK-Madhu continued they lovey dovey talk but they didn't say anything new..."kyun pyar karte ho mujhse" se aage koi baat nahi hui, RK didn't give her a reply , bas BG song and both deforming each others faces 🥱 not so impressive..

Padmini entered and Dips told Sikky that she now knows Madhu's plan and she will be caught today..i wanna tell her what Sikky told her..jab tum giri hui harkatein karti ho toh cute lagti hai, jab plan flop hote hai toh super cute lagti ho 🤣 what an idiotic plan she made...i expected her to be smarter than this...

I liked Padmini today 👏 I personally like her as an actress , she puts jaan in her scenes..most of the time she's talking, and Madhu is quiet 😆 coming to their dialogues, she copied everything from our EDT but well said 👏 her fear is justified but , don't u think Padmini, it's too late now? she should have stopped Madhu much earlier...revenge chodo , ab toh she's back in RK's arms, Padmini is not aware of the recent developments...

RK butting in their convo , and OMG , RK and sanskari baatein 😲 Finally he apologized for all his mistakes, admitted that he was being an a**h*** , he can't give any justification for it but he's sorry about it , no matter how hard he tries, he cannot undo it...the truth is that he loves Madhu and isse bhi bada sa ajeeb truth is that Madhu also loves him 😆 i liked him saying that he's begging from Padmini to give his Madhu to him...

Padmini asking Madhu to reconsider her decision and RK reminded her that it's not Madhu's decision only, it's their mutual decision...but no third person can interfere/influence Madhu now..

Radha acts crazy sometimes..doesn't she know that Padmini has not forgiven RK ? itni baat aapas mein family wale nahi karte? can't she see Madhu's sad face? n then she's inviting Padmini for the wedding? Padmini however refused to attend any functions, but i'm sure RK will convince her in the end...

Precap, Madhu is back to her RK why do i feel RK knows abt her plan and he asked Madhu directly whether or not she wants to marry him ? ye acha hai..husband wife ki shadi in 2 days and they're already living like husband wife ! how r the rasms going to be? Madhu will become dulhan in Rk mansion and phir greh pravesh 😆

i am so proud of myself that i never liked padmini! 👏

this women is, was and will always be dumb!!!! firstly it took her million years to realise that the revenge will break madhu...secondly it will take her another milliopn years to realsie that madhu loves Rk and has already backed out of the revenge plan...thirdly finally after ages she started thinking about madhu's future!!! 😆 😆 😆

NOW RK:

1) "yeh hamara faisla hoga" brilliant...so he is making it clear that he will not take any decision alone neither allow madhu to take a decision alone...he is pissed that padmini is trying to stop the wedding

2)"aap shaadi rokne ki baat mat kijiye...main jee nahi paaonga madhu ke bina" one more hint at what his reaction will be if madhu ditches..

3) he interrupts between madhu-padmini coz he is scared that padmini will brainwash her daughter and force her to leave Rk...n thats y he stops madhu from taking a decision as well...he has to be the 1st one to know what she is upto...

First of all yummy precap

All the good days are back, What's up with maa beti duo. Rk ke ghar mein, rk ke bedroom mein rk ke against plans discuss kartein hai, it's a lions den, and he is not blind or deaf u see.

I liked rk speech, thouh paddo was like " yah whatever", Rk knows about her plan but is determined about the marriage and he sure will win.

Somehow I liked padmini stand today and liked her I will not take part in ur drama kind of look to madhu. I can only wish madhu clarifies soon.

Sikki and dips were entertaining, is it not gud for dips to let madhu do the heartbreaking, she can then enjoy the aftermath.

Hopefully madhu ka confusion kal khatam ho jaayaega. Then we can enjoy romance for a while, I think big big drama will happen on the big day,

third party ka " naam nishaan ya naksha nahi", great

Why did RK butt in the mother-daughter conversation, when Padmini had clearly expressed her wish to be left alone?

I will be honest and admit that RK scared me today with his sanskari bachha talks.

How can he change so much overnight?

Random Musings:

Padmini should have shown Madhu this mirror when she first explained her revenge plan, not now when she's so far gone. Though I can understand her tension, it is very real.
Dips-Sikky - Adorable couple, nowadays I'm rooting for this couple. They could show a track where Sikky gets injured and Dipali finally realises how much she cares for him😆. They are such an in-tune couple.😳 (pls dismiss vague wishes as nervous tension about the ultimate twist😆)
RK-madhu - He is serious about marrying her, so his priority is only the marriage, Though, very definitely he also knows her plan. He has walked in on them twice while they were discussing badla, how could he have not heard? And he has noticed her discomfort many times. he is aiming to break her resolve using love. I can understand why it is worrying, he did the same thing last time. Showered her with love to make her believe him. If it happens again, it would be harakiri for the show, so I'm hoping this RK doing a reverse revenge is one 'twist' that has been tried and done away with. . Also boring no, from a creative standpoint??
Radhaji can be so obtuse...this is the problem with the character. But that is also her inherent trait, all's well in her world so everything's well all over.
