RK taking Madhu to Sitara Studios (i didn't have an idea that this is RK's old home, perhaps where his father comitted suicide) and telling her all this...well may be this is not the typical RK but he had to do something unconventional to make Madhu trust him..he has tried all the methods to woo her while in revenge mode...now there was a need to tell her that he was not lying , or what exactly was a lie and where did he felt that love...All this while , he knows Madhu is not 100% assured and she may get influenced with her mother ..that's the reason why he said in the precap that "i got my Madhu back"

btw yesterday's love proposal beats everything for me...exactly how it wud be in real...true and without any extra decorative efforts...just abrupt after a sensitive talk..

I believe it was a dream, or rather daydreaming on Sultan's part. He wanted something and he was using kind of illusion to prove that his want was justified or his mind was... whatever.

BTW, read the last post you added in yest's EDT.

My take on Sanskaar and DABH was the same. I stopped watching the latter when Bhabho became too much to take ... she got on my nerves. Sanskaar bugged me much a month or so ago when that old woman came up with the silly, ridiculous test for Bhumi. I was like, what age are you living in! And my problem was she was hellbent on failing Bhumi in that ridiculous test come what may. I went and ranted at their forum and even at Colors for that stupid, irritating episode. Now, that's a good place for the social activists to show their protest, that's called domestic abuse in the name of Sanskaar, respecting the elders and maryada.

When I was watching Ishaqzaade on my flight to India and when I saw that Parma cheats Zoya...I was like...Jeez, this was the story of that Pareshaan song. Why did no one point out in the EDT that RK was going to cheat even Madhu ?!! I wonder... 😆

Glad you brought reference of this movie Shri...I'm always reminded of this movie when i think about Rk's revenge..and then I feel that RK's revenge was way better...the story was time bound so the hero committed a mistake and heroine forgave him in 10 mins when he genuinely confessed to her 😆 that too, when he took physical advantage of her and ditched her the next minute...she wanted to kill him but both eloped and got married and were again into doing their stuff and get fanaa in the end ..and the movie was a hit !

@red: y do u feel it wasn't typical RK? now that he clarified that nothing was a lie then this part of him is very much him and has always been there...he did this when he clarified about the love test bet,also did it while clarifying the ballu involvement, also during first studio night...i think its totally him...true and unmasked...

by unconventional i meant sharing his dark past with her, acting crazy and those weird bathroom surprises etc. etc. 🤣

Not that I was very impressed with the dance. I was guffawing throughout, but then that was the intent of it all. 😆

Ananya, I have been watching MB since Nov/Dec (after IPK ended) and RK has been a larger than life character, very dramatic but always classy & dignified. His dark sense of humour is what appeals to me and a large section of the audience i'm sure, but CVs shouldn't over do it. Why make him do something so out of character? We already have an in-house joker Sikky, dont we?!!

On another note, RK kameena ho toh mujhe koi problem nahi! His revenge was classy too, like him...pyar mein paagal ho gaya toh even that would be great, would love to see his romantic side 😛 love rishbala chemistry!
