You may have the power to conquer the world but sometimes that one simple, unadulterated and innocent smile sweeps you off your feet. Just like today Geet's beaming happiness had that power to prompt me to put the world at her feet. I was drinking in her each nuance, antics and her unbound joy!!!

The moment the movie ended she just jumped on me hugging me tight not caring where we were, this was practically the first time she had let down her reservations and openly expressed her happiness. One of her deepest and dearest wish had been fulfilled. But it felt like I was in 7th heaven today I had succeeded to an extent to bring out that facet of Geet which had ruthlessly been suppressed and butchered in the name of family honor. How I wish I could turn back the time and undo all the insults and abuses inflicted on her all these years.

We were driving back home the roads were clear as it was still early , it was a dual treat to drive and ofcourse glancing time to time at the child woman sitting next to me, she had been picturing the view outside. Thats when another harsh reality made its presence felt reminding me that it had been months she had been out on Delhi roads as all throughout her stay back at Dev's house she had been house arrested.

Her eyes mirroring her state of mind but all of a sudden the beaming eyes brimmed with tears. When I followed her view I saw Mohinder Uncle, Rano Aunty and Teji descending the stairs of a mandir. I pulled over the car at the side and turned her to me cupping her face I spoke to her.

"Geet agar tum unhe milna chahti ho toh tum jaa sakti ho." She instantly nodded her head in a no and then looked at me astonished not actually believing my words so I continued.

"Geet woh bahot dukhi hain aur tumhaare liye pareshaan bhi." She gave me a questioning look.

"Kal woh aur Teji office aaye the...." I narrated to her all the happenings at KC and HC.

"Maan..." She interupted me fear was evident on her face.

"Geet main kal hi tumhe batanewala tha par reh gaya. Geet tum fikar mat karo haalaat (situations) pehle se ab kaafi acche hain aur Teji ke aane se tumhaare Papaji ko bhi madad mil gayi hain. Teji ke wahan rehte woh log kuch zyaada kar nahi paayege issiliye agar tum chaho toh..." She didn't let me complete and spoke.

"Maan main unse abhi nahi milna chahti main uss din ka intezaar karungi jab aap ne jo bhi socha hain woh poora ho jaayega. Main jaanti hoon ke aap meri khushi ke liye mujhse yeh keh rahe hain par main kamzor nahi padna chahti." She finished.

"Geet sirf meri wajah se tumhe kitna kuch sehna padta hain, I have practically grounded you, keeping you away from all your happiness and now you are refusing to meet your parents just because..." I felt so guilty but as always she turned the whole thing around.

"Maan please aap jo bhi kar rahe hain woh hamaare liye kar rahe hain, galti toh meri hain main hi kal apne aap pe kaaboo (control) nahi rakh paayi. Annie ne jab SRK ki movie ke baare mein kahan toh uss temptation ko main resist hi nahi kar paayi." She stated winking at me leaving me astounded.

"Accha temptation resist nahi kar paayi... abhi dikhata hoon!" I said gritting my teeth she has guts talking about that actor and also proudly claiming her liking for him. 'She is my Meeshti!' How dare she even talk about someother man. I hovered over her and she looked like a trapped lamb but before I could do anything she squealed.

"Maan...Hawaaldaar!"

"Kahan?" I looked around gaining my calm realizing that we were in a car in the middle of the road. When I heard her laughter as she pointed out to the traffic police standing on the other side of the road. She had fooled me! But for her this happiness I would love to be a fool all my life. I smiled at my thought igniting the engine as we made our way back home where Annie must be waiting for us.

I had been pacing up and down in the hall. It was strange that Geet nor Bhai were anywhere to be seen. I inquired about them but non knew. Thats when I saw Vicky entering the house dressed in his casuals, I looked at Pari but she shrugged her shoulders indicating she was unaware. He was whistling and the look on his face meant trouble but for whom?

Mom called all for breakfast as we moved towards the dinning table Yash and Arjun too joined in. Now I was sure there was indeed something fishy. Not able to hold myself I spoke.

"Kya baat hain aaj kal tum log roz yahan aa jate ho khaana khaane?" Only to be snubbed off rudely by the elders. Arjun giving me a a winning smirk while Yash winking at Vicky making the three of us curious about their agenda. Bhai and Geet missing and they all being here so early was hinting something but what came our way was shocking!I was expecting some serious fireworks but...

Bhai entered hand in hand with a beaming Geet and the other threesome exchanging knowing glances before I could speak Mom did the honours questioning Bhai about there early morning disappearing act. Geet's blushing face and Bhai's smirk was adding on to my anxiety.

"Mom main hoon na! Woh kya hain na aaj Bro ka mann hua BB ko surprise karne ka toh issliye woh BB ko movie dikhane le gaye the early morning first day first show!!!!" Vicky enlightened all about the MSK super surprise.

"What!!!!" We three screamed in unison.

"Mooh toh bandh karlo Annie, table manners bhool gayi ho tum." Vicky taunted me with a devilish smirk and elaborated further how Bhai and him planned out everything.

I can't believe Bhai did this!

"Maan agar tum movie mein jaa hi rahe the toh inn teeno ko bhi saath le jaa sakte the."Dadimaa stated clearly not happy with the turn in events. I knew this was coming she couldn't believe that I could leave out Annie, Meera and Pari. She knew me a little too well but before I could reply again Vicky who was all charged up today asserted.

"Dadimaa aap inn teeno se hi kyun nahi kehti ke apna phone check kare aur dekhe ke maine aur Bro ke kitne missed calls aur msgs kiye hain. Ghode bech ke sote hain yeh log woh bhi room lock karke, Annie ne toh Bro ka phone uthaya bhi tha lekin poori baat sun ne se pehle call cut kar diya aur yeh Pari aur Meera dono jaage the raat ko maine inki awaaz bhi suni thi, jab main door knock kar raha tha phir bhi darwaaza khola nahi toh hum kya karte."

There was clear disappointment on their faces and I felt terrible for them. Though I was upset with Annie's plan but I genuinely wanted to take them all for the movie. It was too early still Vicky and I tried our level best to wake them up but to no success.

They confessed that Annie thought it was some kind of prank on her and Pari and Meera thought that they heard the phone rings and knocks in their dreams. Vicky, Yash and Arjun along with others burst out laughing but I was truly feeling guilty and upset that today in the quest to fulfill Geet's wish and also keep her out of public eye I have hurt the other three.

But today I was running out of time!

Geet firmly held my hand like understanding my feelings and pain even she was feeling guilty to have been the cause of all this chaos.

Annie who wasn't going to give up so soon probed further that we could have informed them last night but this time Dad intervened and clarified our stand as he knew we had planned it all very late. All seemed to be satisfied with the reasoning but I genuinely wanted to apologize.

"Annie, Meera and Pari I am really sorry to have hurt you all but I promise to make up for all this very soon!" I felt relieved to see genuine smiles on their face as all resumed to continue their breakfast but the two pranksters were upto some more drama.

Vicky and Yash to irk the threesome discussed the story thereby revealing the climax ofcourse with the sole intention to ruin their plan to watch the movie in the day and Annie couldn't take this lying down so emptied the whole jug of milk over Vicky. Mom was really wild and yelled on both Annie and Vicky for their behavior and warning all of us to end this cold war right here and behave our age. The girls left to their rooms irritated and stinking and sticky Vicky headed to his room for a extensive bath.

Pari and Meera sat cribbing in one corner of our room while I silently thinking how to initiate when the duo called out to me. I turned to their sullen faces rolling my eyes at their drama I spoke.

"Iss tarah se mooh banakar baithne ka koi faayda nahi waqt nahi hain hamaare paas chalo Bhai and Company office chale gaye hain ab time to put plan in action."

They looked at me as if I was alien. Not getting any response from their end I enlightened them that this movie plan was just a trailor for The great MSK to misguide him now that all of them are sure that all is well. This is the time for my actual plan. I always knew that Bhai will easily manage the movie plan but still I played along though I must give it to him the way he fulfilled Geet's wish and I was truly happy for her.

Hamaari Geet pe toh aise 100 filmen kurbaan!

Geet's one of the most deep desire to watch a film in the theatre was finally fulfilled and how!

But I can't get carried away Mom warned us to settle the matter so I am on with full-n-final settlement. This time nothing will go wrong.

"What are u planning?" Meera inquired.

"I'm gonna give The MSK a taste of his own medicine. Sab ke saamne hamaara mazaak banaya tha na, bechaari Geet ko bhi nahi choda tha. Ab hamaari baari aaj shaam ko MSK ki band bajegi aur Geet hi bajaayegi!" I declared proudly.

"Annie kabhi kabhi mujhe tujhse darr lagta hain." Pari spoke making a puppy face.

"Chup kar aur neeche chalo acting karne ka waqt aa gaya hain. Pinky bhi aati hi hogi and no overacting." I warned them and patting myself to have been able to pull out the act successfully.

'Bhai aaj aap kuch nahi kar paayenge kyun ke aaj Ranjit Singh Khurana khud hume permission denge aur aap unhe kuch nahi keh paayenge. Maine kahan tha na main bhi Anvesha Singh Khurana hoon!'

Finally everything fell into place and here we are all five (Annie, Pinky, Pari, Meera and Geet) of us sitting in a restaurant of our private wing of a 5 Star Hotel enjoying the poolside view. I am in awe of Dadu and his foresight, most of the hotels constructed by KC has our own private wing so we can entertain our delegates and clients personally without any hindrance or disturbance.

This very idea has turned out to be a boon for us as we could manage to bring Geet for lunch without Bhai knowing about it and now we sit here enjoying our lunch and bringing alive the memories of our good old days. Dadu had finally granted us the permission to bring Geet along. Actually Vicky's morning drama turned out in our favor as all sympathized with us.

Geet had arrived with Pinky separately, so no one could doubt on a burqa clad women accompanying us. Once inside our private wing no outsider was allowed so Geet would be safe plus Shergill Uncle had done all arrangements for our security. After all my Dadu was the best and everything was in control.

And now time for the actual drama to unfold...

I looked out of the mirror glassed window towards the pool and there sits The MSK with his foreign clients for tea Pinky gave me a knowing smile as she had successfully got the information about Bhai's meeting here through Aadi. They had ruined our movie plan we will make sure all of them pay.

Yash and Arjun had made numerous calls but we didn't attend any I'm sure by now they must have known our whereabouts from the driver and will be here soon. Adi, Vicky and Bhai already here and some more time and then BOOM!!!

Okay so now time for action Bhai...

Arjun and Yash entered the pool area looking out for us and Bhai was already done with his meeting about to leave. Perfect timing I patted myself and then turned to the rest three who were lost enjoying their dessert.

"Yeh log sab ek saath yahan kyun aaye hain?" I feigned

ignorance.

"Babaji Maan ne agar mujhe yahaan dekh liya toh meri khair nahi." Geet panicked and mumbled loud enough.

"Relax Geet hum chupke thodi na aaye hain Dadaji ne khud permission di hain hume. Darr ne ki koi zaroorat nahi." I assured her and we all turned towards the pool and the sight that braced us was shocking a woman clinging to Bro. I looked at Geet who was fuming with anger all her fear of coming here was long gone now we all could witness the possessive wifey who was on the verge of bursting out.

'Tch tch Bhai ab aayega mazaa!!!!'
