Mission Accomplished!!! I patted myself mentally, reminding me of the day I had bumped into Alana in the mall. I had been livid with the guys and chose to do some extensive shopping to relax myself and also think of a super plan to get back at the boys specially Bhai and EUREKA!!!!

Alana it is!

Alana was their classmate and was crazy about Bhai, who hated the mere sight of her. She as usual started inquiring about Bhai and I was too happy to oblige her. I took her details and assured her to fix her meeting with Bhai soon, ofcourse never was I so keen on her meeting Bhai and this time Bhai was in for a shocking surprise!

I turned to look towards Geet to gauge her reactions that left me aghast. Geet was bristling with rage, her nose flared up and eyes spitting fire. I followed her view only to see Alana was practically all over Bhai.

'Arre yeh toh gale hi pad gayi' I thought detesting the sight of her in Bhai's arms.

A thundering sound caught my attention as Geet slammed the door opening to the poolside as she dangerously marched towards the object of her fury, her face was already covered with her veil. We too followed her, only to see Alana pretending to faint in Bhai's arms so he doesn't snub her off him and mumbling loud enough for us all to hear.

"Maan darling...please hold me...main faint ho rahi hoon...its so hot here...kitni garmi hain yahan..." Before she could continue Geet pulled her off Bhai and burst out on her.

"Besharam, behaya, nirlajj (shameless) kahin ki...Chi chi aise nange pange kapde pehen ke ghoom rahi hain...woh bhi paraye mardo ke saamne...bahot garmi lag rahi hain na...toh yeh le...Ab thandi ho jaa." Splash came the sound as Geet pushed Alana in the pool and continued.

"Agli baar mere pati ke aas paas bhi nazar aayi toh taange tog dungi."

" Maan main faint ho rahi hoon...Its so hot here na...Badi aayi firangi chipkali kahin ki." Geet mimicked her animatedly.

There was complete silence around all gaping wide eyed a the the drama that transpired. Alana stood still in the water, shocked with what just happened with her and we all were appalled discovering this side of Geet. Though the whole fiasco was hilarious but non could laugh as the shock was a bit too much for us to digest. We all stood stupified with our mouths wide opened but the next statement of Geet made all heads turn towards her as she pulled Bhai away from the pool making sure that Alana was nowhere around him.

"Maan darling..." She emphasized sarcastically, clearing all doubts that she was dead serious. She continued.

"Aap na...aap ghar toh aayiye phir dikhati hoon." Warning him she left not waiting for any response Pinky too hurried behind her.

"GEET!" Bhai finally uttered in disbelief still not able to comprehend her presence here. "Geet.." He called out to her and started to follow her but Arjun held his hand nodding a no.

"Maan yahaan nahi." He stated firmly looking around making Bhai realize this was not the right place nor the right time.

Bhai closed his eyes and getting a grip over himself, "Aadi cancel all my appointments for the day. I am going home." Bhai declared before walking out.

"And all three of you back in the restaurant, kuch zaroori baat karni hain." Arjun spoke, seriousness evident in his voice and demeanor.

"Lekin Arjun..." I protested only to be silenced by him.

"Not a word Annie...just get in." He asserted trying hard to keep his temper in check.

"Par.."

"NOW" He commanded and all of us scurried in before he burst out on us in public.

Once inside the restaurant we all stood with our heads lowered though we didn't regret our plan but still Arjun's anger hinted its the safest to keep mum. And here we go...

"Bachkaani harhaton (childishness) ki bhi hadd hoti hain, bacche nahi ho tum log ke tumhe situation ki seriousness samajh na aaye. Kisse pooch kar tum log Geet ko yahan laaye the?" Arjun shouted.

"Woh Dadu ne permission di thi issliye..." I tried not give away my nervousness in my statement but...

"Accha toh kya tumne Dadaji ko bataya tha, apne master plan ke baare mein?" He probed further I looked at him shocked but ofcourse he was Arjun and he could read through me.Confirming my thought he continued.

"I know you a little too well Annie so don't pretend. Tum logon ka Geet ko yahan laana, Maan ka yahaan meeting ke liye hona, hum logon ka yahaan aana and above all Alana ka bhi issi waqt yahan par hona...Too much of coincidence hain na." I gulped down a lump praying to Geet's Babaji for help but Arjun wasn't done yet.

"No wonder subah tum itni shant thi I should have guessed it that you are planning something much bigger than expected. Kaam ke chakkar mein nazar andaaz kar gaya main."He regretted and I didn't like it.

"Chotasa mazaak hi toh hain.." Meera tried to justify our act.

"Do you people have any idea ke tum logon ne kya kiya hain, ek chotisi galti aur sab kuch khatam ho jaayega. Hamaari itne dino ki koshish, mehnat aur planning sab barbaad ho jaata."

"Ghar ki baat ghar mein rehni chahiye bahar nahi, tum logoo ko badla hi lena tha toh ghar mein lete. Yahaan tamasha karne kya zaroorat thi agar koi problem ho jati toh." Yash lashed out not able to control any further.

"Par kuch hua toh nahi na aur waise bhi guards hain hamaare saath..." I tried to put an end to all the chaos but Arjun just snapped on me.

"Toh kya tum iss intezaar mein ho ke kuch hojaaye...Guards ki baat kar rahi ho na tum, kahan hain mujhe toh nazar nahi aa rahe...Annie bas ek galti, kuch seconds aur sab khatam ho jaayega aur tum kuch nahi kar paaogi . Samjhi." Now Arjun was truly angry, never have I seen him loose his calm like this.

"Agar unlogo ko pata bhi chal gaya toh kya Geet ab Maan Veerji se legally married hain. Bro ya Geet ki family ab kuch nahi kar sakti phir itna darr ne ki kya baat hain." Pari too joined in.

"Pari dimaag na ho toh display nahi karna chahiye."Vicky spoke snubbing Pari off but before I could shut him he continued and the information he disclosed left us tongue tied.

"Tum logo ko lagta hain hum unse darte hain? Aur Brij BB ko waapis ghar le jaane ke liye usse dhoondh raha hain. NAHI...woh BB jaan se maarne ke liye usse dhoondh raha hain. Family honor ki aadh mein woh BB ki jaan lena chahta hain."

"Issliye Bro ne aaj tak BB ke whereabouts public mein disclose nahi kiye hain aur tum log hamaari help karne ke bajaay hamaare liye problems create kar rahe ho." Vicky concluded sharply.

"Woh log Geet ko maarna chahte hain?" We all spoke in unison trying to comprehend the shocking fact that had come our way.

"Haan ab samajh mein aaya ke hum log kyun itne din se mana kar rahe the. Finally!!! Aur ab main umeed karta hoon ke aage se tum log aisa kuch nahi karoge." Yash's statement clearly warning us.

"Uski zaroorat hi nahi padege Yash, Annie kaafi timepass ho gaya hain ab kuch constructive kaam kar le. Kal se tum mujhe office mein join kar rahi ho. Main tumhe choice nahi de raha hoon. Tumhaara yeh talent mujhe kaafi helpful hoga, so lets get serious in life. Itne aage aakar ab there is no room for any mistakes!" Arjun commanded and his tone leaving no room for arguments either.

"The same applies to u too Meera vacation over, time for some work, kal subah ek client ke saath meeting hain aur tum mere saath aa rahi ho. Hope I am loud and clear." Yash too ordered.

"Tum aise kya dekh rahi ho, Khanna Cements ko chalane ke liye MD ki post hi kaafi nahi kuch kaam bhi karna padta hain toh kal se tum bhi full fledgedly office join karogi. Samjhi tum." Vicky too added with no other option left we all accepted it.

"Now get going kaafi der ho gayi hain and Annie tomorrow I see u at my office 10am sharp. Arjun concluded and we all left for home.

"Aaj toh baal baal bach gaye yaar kuch gadbad ho jaati toh lene ke dene pad jaate aaj toh iss chandaal chaukdi ne hume shahid karne ki saari planning kar li thi. Accha hi hain inko kuch waqt tak kaam mein busy rakhenge so no such situations arise." Yash stated.

"Geet ko leke hum koi chance nahi le sakte aur inn logo ko kuch din Geet se alag rakhna zaroori hain. Aur ab hume jaldi hi sab khatam karna hoga. Kal subah Maan se office mein milke baat karenge. Vicky just be a bit careful at home we can't afford anymore mistakes. Annie ko main sambhaal lunga." I asserted.

"Main toh yeh soch raha hoon ke Maan ka kya haal hoga. Bhagwaan uski raksha kare!" Yash joked as we too left the restaurant.

All the way back home I was wondering how on earth did Geet land up there. She would never go against my word then how come she was out that too in public though she had disguised herself but still it was so risky. Anything could happen! Ofcourse Annie is behind this but Geet and on top of that Alana...

'Yeh aafat kahan mere gale pad gayi aur ab Geet pata nahi kya karegi?'

'Geet ke Babaji meri raksha karna!' I prayed to God as my car pulled up in the KM portico.

'Shahid hone ke liye taiyaar ho jaa Maan.'

I had been looking around for Geet quite for sometime now but to no avail. She was home but where? Finally I found her sulking, seated on the swing near the pool.

"Tum yahan ho aur maine tumhe har jagah dhoondh liya." I earnestly spoke to her only to be snubbed off.

"Kyun aap mujhe kyun dhoondh rahe the, kya aap ki girlfriend bhaag gayi? Shayad issiliye aap ko meri yaad aa gayi."

"GEET..." I raised my voice but gauging the situation and Geet's temper I calmed myself and continued.

"Geet woh meri girlfriend nahi hain woh toh bas aise hi...tum bekaar mein hi raai ka pahaad bana rahi ho." I closed my eyes regretting my words and as expected she got up in a huff and walking out on me she stated.

"Oh toh ab main bekaar hi baat badha rahi hoon toh theek hain hum baat hi nahi karte." Before I could stop her she was long gone.

I had been trying to talk to her since evening but she avoiding me. Whole evening she was surrounded by womenfolk in the kitchen and during dinner too she sat besides Annie and Pari totally ignoring me. Not to miss the winning smirk plastered on Annie's face and Vicky giving me sympathizing look. Elders still not quite aware about the happenings and I would like it stay that way. I was eagerly waiting for Geet in our room but some international calls needed my attention and I made my way to the study.

Finally done with my work I hurried back to the room to encounter Geet sitting on the bed busy in cribbing and cursing me.

"Dekha aap ne Babaji sach hi kehte hain log shaadi ke baad biwi ki koi value hi nahi ghar ki murgi daal barabar issiliye wahan unn nangi pungi ladkiyon ko gale laga rahe the."

"GEET kitni baar kahu tumse tum sab galat samajh rahi ho, aisa kuch nahi hain woh toh Alana achaanak se aa gayi..."

"Alana...wah aap ko toh uska naam bhi pata hain aur mujhe keh rahe hain ke aisa kuch nahi hain" She snapped at once marching towards me.

"Geet main wahan meeting ke liye gaya tha"

"Haan maine dekha na aap ki meeting, poolside pe baith ke ladkiyon ko jhappi-pappi de rahe the..."

"Maine koi pappi nahi di usse samjhi tum."

"Accha toh aap ko bura lag raha hain meri wajah se aap ki pappi dene ka chance miss ho gaya hain na. Mujhe thodi der se aana chahiye tha taake aap jee bhar ke uss chipkali ko gale shale mil le uske saath..."

"Geet...maine usse gale nahi lagaya tha woh mere gale padi thi aur waise bhi itni koi badi baat nahi, yeh toh aaj kal ka fashion hain dost ek dusre ke gale milte hain."

"Theek hain toh ab se main bhi aivey sab ko hi-shi bol ke jhappiyaan- pappiyaan dungi.."

"GEEET!!!!"

"Dekha maine toh sirf bola, toh aap itna bigad rahe ho maine toh apni aankhon se dekha aap ko uss chipkali besharam ladki se...Chi chi chi aise gale milte hue. Aap karo toh fashion aur main sochu toh bhi galat."

" Ek toh aap ki galti hain maafi maangna toh door mujhe hi tevar dikha rahe hain. Main naraaz hoon aur aap ko itni aasaani se maaf nahi karungi samjhe aap."

"Geet tum akeli naraaz nahi ho, apni harkaton ke baare main kya jawaab hain tumhaare paas. Bina meri permission ke, mujhe bataye bina tum wahan kyun aayi thi. Maine tumhe mana kiya tha na ghar se bahar jaane se toh bhi tum..."

"Main wahan nahi aati toh mujhe pata hi nahi chalta aap ki raas-leela aur important meetings ke baare mein. Aur waise bhi mujhe high command se permission mili thi toh aap kuch nahi kar sakte.Samjhe aap."

"Main dekh raha hoon aaj kal tumhaari zabaan bahot chalne lagi hain, ek number ki jagdaalu (fightercock) billi ho gayi ho tum, main kuch bolta nahi iska matlab yeh nahi ke tum mere sar pe naachogi. Ab mujhe bahot neend aa rahi hain saamne se hato mujhe sona hain. Baaki ki fight tum andar bathroom mein jaa ke akele continue karo. OK." Her nose flared up I must say she was looking so cute but I definitely rubbed the wrong side.

Marching forward she scouled while I started moving back. She looked like a ferocious tigress ready to pounce on me.

'Yeh Annie ne toh meri garib gaai (cow) jaisi biwi ko ghayal sherni bana diya!'

"Main jagdaalu, mujhe billi kahan aap ne kal raat ko bhi kahan tha hain na, main aap ke sar pe naachti hoon abhi dikhati hoon. Sona hain na aap ko jaayiye shauk se so jaayiye KM bahot bada hain kahin na kahin jagah mil hi jaayegi."Saying she banged the door close on my face leaving me appalled. I didn't realize she had deliberately engaged me in her talks and conveniently pushed me out of the room.

"Geet darwaza kholo yeh kya bachpana hain, dekho main warn kar raha hoon yeh panga bahot bhaari padega tumhe...Geet..."

A sudden burst of laugther made me turn around to see everybody laughing on my plight.

Dadimaa muffling her laughter spoke.

"Sher ke upar hamesha sauva sher hota hain Maan beta!" She left along with Dadaji. Mom and Dad just left giving a knowing look to me.

"Tch tch tch Bhai bahot bura hua aap ke saath aur aaj koi back up bhi nahi hain." Annie walked towards me and whispered in my ears.

"Check and mate! Game over!!!" Winking at me she left with the girls.

The last one Vicky stood there and finally spoke

"Bro maine apna room ka door khula rakha hain sona ho toh aa jaayegaBB toh aaj darwaaza khol ne se rahi." I glared at him and he ran away.

'Geet tum MSK ko jaanti nahi ho sab abhi mujhpe has rahe hain na, I promise kal subah tumhaari baari. Time for payback wifey!'

The morning rays broke my slumber I tried to turn but felt being held up by something. I was still sleepy thought to sleep for some more time. I tried to cover myself with a spread but there wasn't any I patted my hands here there around me to look for it, my eyes still closed. The surface was not the usual soft one. Confused I opened my eyes slowly and was shocked beyond limits as I looked around.

How did I come here I very well remember to be sleeping in my room last night than how is it possible?

'Kya main neend mein chalne lagi hoon?' I questioned myself but a slight movement besides me confused me further. Maan was right beside me and I was sleeping resting myself on him. Nothing made sense and before I could delve further...

"GEET...."

I was so embarrassed to see our whole family gaping at us. I tried straighten myself but Maan's hold on me was quite strong but I finally managed to free myself and in the chaos Maan too woke up looking at me like I was alien.

Dadima walked up to the couch and spoke.

"Yeh kya baat hui Geet kal aap ne khud Maan ko room se bahar nikaal diya tha aur ab khud inke paas study mein aake so gayi. Itni jaldi aap ne inhe maaf bhi kar diya. Hume aap se yeh umeed nahi thi." She gave me a disappointed look and left.

"Geet sacchi tu har baar Bhai ki hi side ho jaati hain, kal itna kuch hua aur phir bhi tu yahaan..." Annie was also very upset to see me with Maan.

"Haan Geet kal toh badi style maar rahi thi, mujhe MSK ko room se nikal diya aur raat ko mere paas aake kyun so gayi. Tabhi main sochu mujhe backache kyun ho raha hain, poori raat itne chote couch pe hum dono kaise fit hote aur tum mujh pe hi so gayi. Bhalaai ka toh koi zamaana hi nahi hain aur sab bechaare pati ko hi galat samajhte hain." Maan stated dramatically.

All were looking at me accusingly 'Maine toh sacchi kuch bhi nahi kiya, yeh iss dusht daanav ka hi kaam hain. Babaji help karo na!'
